I got word at 7:58 pm Christmas Eve night that my flight from Milwaukee to Nashville was canceled, supposed to leave at 5:25 Christmas morning. I was able to get us on a flight out of Midway at 8:20 Christmas morning. After sitting on the plane for over an hour and a half waiting on another flight attendant, we finally took off.

I imagine flight attendants and pilots were the reason for most of the cancelations today.

Ive driven through Nashville many times and I have never found the 5 hour route.

There is going to be a riot today at Midway Airport. At 4:00 AM this morning half of the flights on the board were listed as cancelled. The wait for customer service has to have been a solid 5+ hours all AM with no end in sight.

Brutal for travelers but has to be worse for employees. My sister spoke to a woman who waited 10 hours to get to Savannah yesterday, she went home to sleep four hours and was back in that five hour line today.

My brother flew in to our destination today and said there were only 30 people on his flight. This is insane because we have four other people in our party trying to get here.

This is just an epic failure on multiple levels by southwest.
