Bears should be trading out of the 2nd pick for multiple later picks. Maybe use one of those extra picks to take a flyer on a Tune or Hall in a later round, give Fields some competition/get a potential, long-shot Fields replacement in camp.

If they go RB in round 2 then Poles should be fired.

It should happen. It increases his value, and running is something he does on his own most of the time. He is playing in a dome on Sunday. He should be able to get about 130 rushing yards. That leaves a Vikings game, that has them playing for the #1 seed, for him to make up the difference.

It's fair to criticize Fields as he is hardly a "finished product"

The real question is whether you think there is enough there "there" for him to be a really good quarterback. Apparently MANY believe that there is and that's why he will get a little more time (and hopefully weapons) before they will believe that this isn't the case.

Because of his elite running ability, he can be a starting quarterback until his legs fall off. To me, his passing ability is the difference between being a starting quarterback and a Hall of Fame quarterback. I want him to be a Hall of Fame quarterback.
