There is absolutely nothing in this movie that you have not seen before (in most cases, several times). Why do we continue to get bombarded with horror movies that feature an unknown virus turning people into flesh eaters? Also, the point of view camera was innovative almost ten years ago.
The movie really is no better than if a person brought a camera with them as they walked through one of the haunted houses that go up during October. Any fear is generated simply by something jumping out of the dark. There is nothing in the story that creates tension.
The lead actress is hot, which is nice.
I guess this would be acceptable to go to on Halloween if you wanted a little scare and could get in on a $5 ticket. Otherwise, feel free to miss it.
