Yes but this is the JANUARY hype train. Months to go before the hype on any of them truly cranks up. But from Indy’s point of view as long as they get a crack at one of those guys there is no need to move up.

I have family that went to high school with him, and are still in touch with him. Carr is a family first guy who is in no hurry to uproot his family. And he was the opposite of humiliated when they chose to sit him and risk injury. It's a business that he understands well.

Sounds like Carr is looking forward to leaving Vegas

if you don't like Fields or Bryce why not trade Fields for a top 6 pick, trade back from #1 to get #4 and other picks, sign Carr, select Carter at #4 or whatever and Anderson at #5 or whatever and move forward with the other picks. I'd def do it in Madden.

I'm just looking for a replacement-level QB or more until we find the real thing. Converting Fields into assets seems to be more valuable than holding onto him and hoping he turns into a star.

His value may never be higher than it is now. The only way it gets higher is if he becomes a bona fide superstar next year. If you believe he's a guaranteed star by next year then you keep him. If you're unsure then you probably should cash out.
