Second Chronicles 15:7 sounds like something an ancient ancestor of Dan Campbell would’ve written:

“Be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”

That’s football-guy stuff right there.

Seems like a passage that would serve people well if they heed it .

Where is Ryan pace when you need him?

Atlanta also needs a quarterback. Will Anderson won't be there. Myles Murphy probably will.

Do they like Ridder enough to give him a full year?

I think they likely saw what we all did. That Ridder sucks and Kyle Pitts was a wasted draft pick that wasn't supposed to be a miss.

Levis is going 1 or 2 unless he messes up bad at the combine. He's got the hype train going. Stroud is the one who falls to the Colts.

Yes but this is the JANUARY hype train. Months to go before the hype on any of them truly cranks up. But from Indy’s point of view as long as they get a crack at one of those guys there is no need to move up.

What's more important, the tattoo or his quick release?

I'd take Levis over Fields any day.

Jimmy G wasn't allowed to practice with the team most of camp. He had to work out on his own.

And the 49ers officially said good bye to Garoppolo, and then took him back.

The Raiders made a business decision to sit Carr, so he didn't end up injured, because then his contract would have been guaranteed.

Carr has a no trade clause, so they can't trade him. They will release him and if he doesn't sign somewhere else, he will still be willing to listen to offers from the Raiders.

Carr wouldn't want to hurt his new team by giving away picks, he'd have to get an extension to the team he wants .say Indy.. it could happen for a 4th rounder.

Going to be interesting to see what he does.

Carr grew up wanting to play for the Raiders. He would love to continue to play for the Raiders.

I have family that went to high school with him, and are still in touch with him. Carr is a family first guy who is in no hurry to uproot his family. And he was the opposite of humiliated when they chose to sit him and risk injury. It's a business that he understands well.

Sounds like Carr is looking forward to leaving Vegas

It sure does now. Who is going to want to go play for him? Brady may want to, but I can’t seem want me to stand behind that offensive line.

Combine is made for a guy like him. He'll throw the ball through a brick wall and the scouts will cream.

if you don't like Fields or Bryce why not trade Fields for a top 6 pick, trade back from #1 to get #4 and other picks, sign Carr, select Carter at #4 or whatever and Anderson at #5 or whatever and move forward with the other picks. I'd def do it in Madden.

I kinda like Fields, I've been a firm believer in Carr sucks, I call him carrbage.

I'm just looking for a replacement-level QB or more until we find the real thing. Converting Fields into assets seems to be more valuable than holding onto him and hoping he turns into a star.

I'd like Max Duggan in the 4th round , Way too early to give up on Fields. We'll know after the season if Fields can be the guy.

His value may never be higher than it is now. The only way it gets higher is if he becomes a bona fide superstar next year. If you believe he's a guaranteed star by next year then you keep him. If you're unsure then you probably should cash out.

I couldn't agree more. I wouldn't want to bet my only GM job on Fields becoming a superstar.

I don't think Duggans is worth a draft pick either. What do you see, 312?
