Robert "Mutt" Lange was by no means an attractive man, but when he ran across a very attractive, but scuffling Country singer name Eileen Twain he saw an opportunity.

He seemed to know that he could produce hit records for anyone that was physically attractive and had a pulse, seems the Twain gal was smartened up to his abilities, and the rest is history, he had the prime years and then moves along.

This must have been a great time for him, at least for a couple of years until she started thinking she was actually talented and got to be a too high maintenance. Tommy Mattolla did the same with the insane Mariah Carey and then again with Thalia.

Why aren't these guys role models for all young men?

Hard to believe the guy who made Highway to Hell and Back in Black produced the schlock that cam after.

Yup, she began to think she was actually a great singer rather than just a pretty face that sang stuff one of the top music producers in the world created.

Likely was some good times early and then she didn't think she needed him anymore and cut him off so he went with the less attractive, but more skilled option.

Reminds me of my buddy Billy back in college, his family owned a few restaurants so he managed to snag a hot blonde girl that thought he had a bunch of money. He said she would only do missionary position for 5-10 minutes after she put towels down on the bed and told him not to mess up her hair, she dumped him for a frat boy after a few months, he ended up dating a more average looking girl who was much more fun.
