Okay I am putting this in this section because even though it is about music , it is movie related.

What are some of your favorite soundtracks?
For me they fall into two basic categories, ones that set the mood and tone for the movie and those that are just music from the film/tv show.
In the first my three tops are
Lost Boys: perfect mood and the darkness of the move
The Crow : same but even further goes into telling the films story
Streets of Fire: each song happens at a point in the movie , that when you hear them apart from the movie you know what was happening at the time. I ean the film is called a Rock and Roll Fable,too bad we did not get the rest of the trilogy

Other catagory:
GoodFellas, Casino; put them together because they are both great collections of music and for the gangster theme can not get better
Heavy Metal, The Movie: now the music is just pure awesome,even if you never seen the movie the songs stand on their own
