probably a great movie if you are into classical music. If not, I challenge you to get through the first 30 minutes. The first 15 are analogous to listening to an interview on WFMT. That was the beauty of The Big Short, it took an esoteric subject and made it accessible to us less sophisticated with the matter. Tar plows right through, relying on the viewer to stay based entirely on Cate Blanchett's charisma.

I can't say whether I would recommend because I didn't stick around to find out if it got better.

There’s a scene where she pwns a hardcore alphabet racialist over xis distaste for Bach. It made the rounds on right wing media when it first came out (presumably to incept normal people into watching this movie).

If you could make a movie out of that one scene, you’d be cooking with gas.
