New York Giants -10.5
West coast teams cant win out East, last team that tried in Jersey was Seattle who got whooped by the G-men.

Chicago Bears -3
Vikings O is awful and they should have lost last week, Bears D get a whole lotta TO's.

Tampa Bay Bucaneers -10.5
Seahawks are awful out East and have gotten blown out both times they ventured to that time zone this year.

Buffalo pick 1st half vs. San Diego (WSEX)
Great situational spot here. Nice ebb and flow angles with San Diego coming off a big win, a short week, travelling east (remember the 68% ATS angle on east coast teams at home playing west coast teams?), and Buffalo coming off a bye at home after a L last time out. Tropical Chargers heading into a 10 am game on their body clocks with an expected temperature at 50 degrees or under. It may not be frigid in Buffalo yet, but San Diego blood takes a while to warm up when they suddenly hit a different climate. Chargers are going to need more than the bolts on their helmets to get the juice flowing. I've bet against SD first half and game on both previous trips east. Why stop now.

NY Giants Team Total OVER 28 points
Another west coast team (49ers) travelling east to face a team coming off a loss. This one is really appealing though because the defending champ Giants have to be embarrassed after that Monday night debacle. I'm already on the Giants for the game at -10, but don't want to lay an inflated number of 6.5 for the first half. But this is another way to play the game. In the west coast travelling to east coast games last five years, the eastern team went OVER the team total 60% of the time. Like the game total also, but I'd expect the Giants D to give JTO the deer in the headlights look and after a couple of recent JTO debacles that blew late covers, I've burned enough money on his sorry ass for one year. Don't want any part of a bet where he might have to deliver points.

Need a rebound from Thursday

Wake Forest -2 vs Maryland- I know Maryland is starting to play well, but Wake is better.

Miami -3 vs Duke- Miami shows they are Miami and Duke shows they are Duke, and Miami has a chance to make an ACC run.

Virginia Tech +3 vs Boston College- The Hokies are playing better and think the Hokies win this one straight out.

Wisconsin +4 vs Iowa- My reason is I can't see Wisconsin going 0-4 in the Big 10 confrence.

Purdue +4 vs Northwestern- For some reason, I actually think Purdue wins this game, but I will take the 4.

Kansas +19 vs Oklahoma- Kansas has an offense that can put up points, Oklahoma lost one of it's top defensive starter, and I wouldn't be suprised if Kansas won.

Mississippi State +7.5 vs Tennesee- I am not taking Tennesee untill I see them cover, when they look as bad as they do.

Washington State +42.5 vs Usc- I know Washington State is bad, but I have to think they keep this less 42.5, heck I see the score as 42-0.

Michigan State +3 vs Ohio State- This is a winnable game for Sparty, will they, Pryor is struggling the pass the ball, if the Spartans can control Wells, they can win this game.

LSU -2 vs South Carolina- I like LSU to bounce back, even though the GameCocks are playing better lately.

From either SBG or Oddsmaker

Northern Ill -9.5 over Toledo

Toledo coming off the big win at Michigan. Last year Toledo put up 70 on NIU. I usually dont put much into revenge, but 70? No doubt NIU players remember that. Gotta think Toledo is flat and NIU is jacked which should mean an easy cover.

San Jose St -1.5 over NM St

SJSt 9-1 ATS as a Road Fav in the Conf. NM St has given up 30+ in 4 of their 5 games while SJSt has only given up 30+ in 1 of their 6 games. Better D gets this one.

Conn +1.5 over Rutgers

Conn has covered 5 of last 6 against Rutgers with the one non-cover a push. Rutgers not as good this year.

Iowa St +7.5 over Nebraska

Home team has covered 12 of last 16. Nebraska went to OT last week while Iowa St layed an egg. Home team bounces back this week.

Kentucky -7.5 over Arkansas

Arkansas beat an overrated Auburn last week. Good line value because of that.

UCLA +2.5 over Stanford

Stanford is better this year but can they do it as a road fav?

Vandy +14.5 over Georgia

Visitor has covered 12 of last 16. 1st loss for Vandy last week. Should be able to stay within 2 TD's.

Mizzou +4.5 over Texas

Texas flying high after beating #1 last week, now they are #1. Mizzou upset by OK St, now they get to play the #1 team. I see a FG game.

purdue Northwestern over 49 - i dont see a problem with this one getting reached. comittment to no tackling will blossom in evanston as the leaves change

kansas +19.5 v. oklahoma- ku coach's dedication to beef sanwiches and not getting run out of the bldg keep ku in this one

wash state +42.5 - they are at home, I mean jesus h christ on a pogo stick, Ill take em

nc -4 at virginia- tarheel keeps the upstart shit going

toledo +9.5 versus NIU- huskies always have trouble with the rocket

TxTch -20.5 : I hate that stupid collie that ATM has
NW -4 : Purdue's train has been derailed
Iowa -3.5 : Iowa isn't that bad, and yes, Wisky is
OKSt -16.5 : Baylor is terrible
MichSt +3: Spartans are actually good -- Ohio State wishes they were playing one year "Pryor"
Duke +4.5: Me no likey the hurricanes
Nevada -21: They will win this one by 35 at least
MSSt +7.5: I love their D, and I am not impressed by TN
KSSt +3.5: Their O will be enough to overcome their D

These picks are made while slightly :drunken:

All lines from The Greek

NCAA

Over 49 Northwestern/Purdue

Expect another offensive slugfest in Evanston.

UConn +2 @ Rutgers

Long year for the Scarlet Knights continues.

Iowa State +7 1/2 vs Nebraska

Cyclones make things difficult for the Cornhuskers at home.

NFL

Bills -1 vs Chargers

West coast teams playing early don't fare too well out East.

Giants -10 1/2 vs 49ers

Same reasoning as above.

Bucs -10 1/2 vs Seahawks

While not an early game, the Seahawks have a long flight, and a long night in this one.

Arkansas-Kentucky UNDER 44.5
Both teams really struggle more often than not on offense. WHen they have gotten points, it's often been because of sloppiness from their opponents.

Baylor +17 @ Oklahoma State
Classic sammich for Cowboys, coming off Mizzou win with Texas on deck. I've ridden Baylor four straight games and I still think they're undervalued. (Covered 3 of those 4 with only ATS loss due to three first quarter TOs vs. Oklahoma). Griffin is a playmaker who can move the ball on most defenses.

NFL Sunday from Pinnacle Sports

Chargers +1 vs Bills- Hopefully after last weeks win over the Patriots, the Chargers start to get it going again.

Rams +7 vs Cowboys- I think that without Romo playing or at least playing at full strentgh, the Rams keep it close.

Vikings +3 vs Bears- The Bears coming off a tough loss and the Vikings have won 2 in a row.

Saints +3 vs Panthers- I actually like the Saints to win this won straight up, Drew get more targets back and the Panthers are coming off a loss.

Jets-3 vs Raiders- The Raiders look bad and the Jets may be starting to get it together.

Colts-1 vs Packers- I like what I am seeing from the Colts, and the Packers defense isn't playing like last year.

Buccanneers -10.5 vs Seahawks- The Seahawks are down to Seneca Wallace and Charlie Frye and no receivers and Buccanneers look better with Garcia.

SBG or Oddsmaker

Minny +3.5 over Chicago

I still dont think the Bears are that great. Bears are banged up and I cant see them running away from Minny today. Dog in divsion Bear games they way to go.

Baltimore +3 over Miami

1st favorite spot for Miami this year. When teams that aren't usually favored are favored I like to go against them.

New Orleans +3 over Carolina

Road team rules this series.

Over 47 Ind/Gb

Both O's should be able to move it in GB as neither D that great right now. Both teams get to the mid 20's at least.

from wsex (lets go after the pros, with some help from Ben Folds)

all from wsex

miami baltimore over 36 (you can laugh all you want to, i've got my philosophy) this is gonna be 5 tds and a field goal in the miami sun- ok ill bite,

carolina -3 (let me tell you what its like, being male, middle class and white, its a bitch if you dont believe, listen now to my new CD) new orl doesnt like to tackle, carolina likes to, really simple here

buffalo pick (You could have just propped me up at the table like a mannequin or a cardboard standup, and given me any face that you wanted me to be seen, we're damned by the existential moment
,when we saw the couple in a coma ,and it was weakened with the cliché ,but we carried on anyway) I cant wait to see that look on Norv Turner's pock marked mug, you know the one where he looks like a guy that just locked his keys in his running car in -30 degree weather.

Under 41.5 Nyj/Oak

I think the Oakland D plays real good today. Oak O should still struggle. Could be an ugly one.

Monday Night from Pinnacle Sports

Broncos +3 vs Patriots- The Broncos have taken not the top name quarterbacks into New Engalnd, like Griese and Plummer and have beaten the Patriots, so I like the Broncos to win this one straight up.

Broncos and Patriots over 48.5- I think the Broncos and Patriots will be passing, Broncos have gotten away from the run and the Patriots don't have a number 1 running back.
