Purdy was easily one of the best quarterbacks in football for the 7 or so games he started. If healthy, he should start.

You arent wrong - the giants have lots of holes to fill. But every roster needs good if not great players. Williams contract is the last true albatross on this teams docket right now.

The Giants locking up Jones and Barkley with big money is like the Bulls locking up DeRozan, Lavine and Vuc for the next 3-5 years. One season of fool's gold and now you think you're a contender. What they're really doing is finding a nice soft spot in the standings at 7-10/8-9 for the next few years.

Well, it appears 82mil of Jones deal is guaranteed, so if things really go south there is an escape hatch after 2 years.

I’ve read jones 2023 cap hit is around 18mil. I’m no cap expert though, just what I’ve read from the giants sources I frequent.
