The Twin batter probably has a couple of broken teeth. Stop treating it like he got hit in the head without wearing a helmet.

Giolito is a mental midget.

He doesn't strike out much and will take a walk and can play 3rd, first, and DH. Hell he can play 2nd base also and will hit much better than Gonzales or Elvis. He actually made a great play in that game playing 1st.

Starting at 3rd base tonight

How MANY errors will Burger have tonight?

Light em Up Chicago!!

One less than that dancing bear that they replaced him with at 3rd base yesterday, Hanser.

I think the Sox have maybe three hits and two walks since the first inning yesterday. Thanks to the piece of shit owner, Reinny.

Theyre catching a break that the Twins are playing NY next for 4 games and not some cupcake or theyd be looking at possibly being 6 or 7 out of first by Monday.

Ouch. This could get ugly quickly.

So that means they will probably run off a 10-2 streak in the next couple weeks.

well, you gotta figure that the Rays are in for a bit of a letdown, so in those 19 games if they can go 10-9, 9-10, 11-8 that would be a very respectable run.

At some point, the White Sox are what they are, a .500 team, right?
This is pretty much what they have been since all-star break in 2021.

Maybe they can get on a roll, but playing a tougher schedule with injuries already piling up....seems difficult to see a major run starting, especially with that schedule. They'd be fortunate to be around .500 heading into mid-May with those games.

They have played 4 series so far. They have won zero series so far. Are they even a .500 team at this point?

They have 6 pitchers with an ERA under 5.79 (Graveman at 5.79 was my cutoff), and that includes a guy with 2IP and another with 3IP.

I'm a hopeless fan, and will keep watching them, but I have no expectations.

They haven't played well since the Houston series and the starting pitching/bullpen has been bad. Some of that will even out, but even if it does, why are we expecting (maybe assuming in some cases) that the team will rebound back to 90 wins? I hope they are able to get on a role, but this is no longer a small sample size of .500 play, injuries keep mounting, and the schedule will be tougher.

This team does have talent, but it's hard to understand why they don't HR's (as one example).

It's too early to panic, but not too early to be unhappy with the results. They need a good homestand.

Going into the season, .500 was what looked to be the ceiling for this team. They have talent, but buy they have some clear holes and have yet to prove they can play defense.

Their talent is better than .500, but the best players keep get to hurt or sick in Liam’s case.

They’ve been a .500 team since mid-2021. Safe to assume nothing’s going to change.

We have a nearly 180 game sample size that says otherwise.

This is an 82 win team at best. Hope for some nice individual seasons and maybe enjoy some games in person with family/friends and good weather. Setting the bar any higher than that leaves any Sox fan ripe for disappointment.

Not rooting against my White Sox at all, but I'm definitely being objective and realistic.

Only a complete dumbass or a Cubs fan would worry about the standings in April.

White Sox W/L since 2020 Tim Anderson starts.

Without 64-71
With 150-112

EXACTLY. They are better than a .500 team talent wise. Said talent is injured too often to realize that potential. Three of their best players are out a few weeks into the season.

Oh good, Tanner Banks being called back up. He is sure to solve the bullpen woes!

It's simply not a White Sox injury report without a Cuban going on or off the IL.

Hey at least Yoan was healthy enough to play in the WBC and not be available for the team that pays his salary .

Anybody else and maybe, but a Yoan injury is a foregone conclusion each year. He could’ve sat on the beach all offseason and I have zero doubt he’d be injured by June.
