Far better? AR had 400 more rushing yards and also caught 50 more passes. Herbert only caught 9 passes last season. Or are we pretending that being good at both doesn’t matter?

Only if the Packers plane crashes.

The Packers "roster" was traded to NY last week.

Herbert rushed for 6 yards a carry. Those 9 receptions by Herbert may have made him a top 5 receiver on the team.

I've been a huge fan of Aaron Jones despite him be a Packer. He's pretty much done and Dillon can't replace him.

I was wrong, Jones is 28.

Herbert averaged 5.7 yds which was 5th in the league. AJ was 6th. Sure, he’s done. The gap in receiving is so vast that this is a silly discussion.

Kahlil Herbert was not better than Aaron Jones last year, not even close. The eye test and nerds align here.

Btw why are we comparing the Bears third string running back to Aaron Jones?

I agree on the Brooks pick. Very good value at that point.

Nas is correct. Jones' production from last year is worrisome because rather than extend Jones' career by reducing carries his carries per game actually increased over his 2021 numbers. That increase is tied to several Gute-created personnel flaws most non-Gute bootlicking boy band members have covered extensively. The added wear and tear from Jones having to put the offense on his back because Romeo Drops/Christian Watson not being ready means he's at an even higher risk for regression this year. Additionally, the Pack will likely see more defensive coverages designed to stop the run until Gute's chosen savior earns the respect of opposing defensive coordinators. Maybe starting over arbitrarily has benefits no one else on earth can see except Gute.

In short Herbert's outlook is much better.

Blah, blah, blah. Your hatred for Gute clouds your judgement. There is not 1 GM in the NFL that would rather have Herbert as their starting RB than Jones. This is just silly.

The Packers don't want Jones beyond this year. Herbert will still be a Bear in 2024.

Aaron Jones was the best running back in the NFL for a couple of years, he's still productive, but the Packers don't want him beyond this year. Why? Age and expected decline in production.

Now you are going to the other extreme. In no world was Jones the best RB in the NFL.

I thought 2019 and 2020 Aaron Jones was arguably the best running back in the game. I'm pretty sure I've said this before. He was the best Aaron on the team.

Why? There’s this thing called a salary cap. Good players get paid a lot of money. That’s not a concern for your guy Herbert since he’s being paid like the 3rd string running back that he is.

Blah, blah, blah.

It really is nonsensical gibberish when vegan talks about GB. I know he's a smart guy, so I'd prefer him to just discuss football like normal if he wants to talk about it. The trolling game is very weak and bland, and mostly it just doesn't make sense. Good trolling has some truth behind it, vegans packers thoughts are just incoherent rambling for a paragraph every time.

Vegan was the one who accurately informed Packers fans that they would have beaten the Buccaneers and won a Super Bowl if they drafted Higgins instead of Love. Vegan pointed out how important keeping the best WR in football would be. Vegan is the guy who has pointed out the countless ways Gute has mismanaged the Packers championship window. Maybe Packers fans should listen to Vegan. Gute should give him a call.

Why are Packers fans so arrogant and stubborn?

This is the type of incoherent rambling I am talking about. No need to join him. I don't know why you and vegan think assigning hypothetical super bowls in alternate realities helps your arguments.

The rest of your post like the Adams stuff has already been debunked in this thread.
