I don't get the Florio-LaFleur bromance. LaFleur's done fuck-all without Rodgers at this point. Maybe Florio trying to get out in front in case LaFleur still wins the North without Rodgers. Not that winning the NFC North this coming season would be all that--you just have to be better than Jared Goff, a Bears QB with 6 wins total over 2 seasons and maybe 1 win in the division for Fields? and on-his-way-out and missing his go-to receivers Capt Kirk.

Could just be Florio trolling Rodgers. Florio's quite proud of some Rodgers throw-away presser quote where Rodgers says not to listen to anything Florio says.

He does but I do believe he is right that the tension was always between Gute and Rodgers. LaFleur as a coach, still to be determined but about to find out.

It appeared that Rodgers wasn't a fan of LaFloor's conservative approach. I know great competitors can come off as assholes in the middle of a competition, but I didn't think Rodgers had respect for his coach. Will LaFloor focus on winning more than looking pretty on the sidelines?

Don't forget that LaFleur also had to deal with having an elite receiver in Adams and how much it hurt the offense to have him there.

I can't recall seeing a more metrosexual head coach than him. Coaches don't generally care about their appearance.

Grooming definitely appears to be one of LaFloor's main interests!

Matt Patricia shut out? You'd think the best coaches, Belichick or Mike McCarthy , would be the most attractive to chicks, based on how chicks seem to go about these things. This Bet.Us Kramer chick has a slightly different list, no LaFleur or even LaFloor. Maybe she knows what's up and that LeFleur's a LeFraud.

That contract for Love is pretty glaring, One can take away 2 things..

1. Front office has very little confidence in Love.
2. Love has no confidence in himself.

It depends on what the incentives are. If they’re easy to make then he will make $2.3M more than he would have with the 5th year option.

Isn't it 7 million less guaranteed? .. and if they believed in him why not ink a 3 year 40 mill deal..he'd sign it. They know he sucks, he knows he sucks.

Kliff is top three, if not at the top of the mountain. He's a slightly older Ryan Gosling.

seen that spin all over the packers internet

It's pretty clear what it is.

Lot's of teams are gearing up for QB in the 24 draft

I don't really see the win for Love in this. It sounds as if he gets around $10 million less guaranteed if he isn't good and if he is good he likely gets a new long term deal. If he is average, then he gets like $2 million more for one year and then he gets to play a season just waiting to be replaced by the rookie.

I know he signed it but it does seem clear the Packers are already scouting QBs for the first round pick next year.

They are in the same position as the Bears at QB. The worst thing that can happen in 23 is for Love to be neither definitively good or bad.

I think there might be 7 QB drafted in the first round of 24.

You'll see some of them fall. It seems to be a trend to always think that "Next year is the year of the QB" especially when it does have a superstar available at 1.

and 2

I just love how Pratt from Tulane plays. Maybe he isn't elite when you scout him as an NFL player, like Duggins from TCU this year

If Love is neither good nor bad, the Pack would be wise to move on.

I fear this is the kind of season Fields will have--and that Poles will then hold off on drafting a new QB.

If/when he does so, I hope he emphasizes accuracy, reading ability and pocket presence over "traits".

That gets a lot harder when Fields starts asking for the deal that Jones/Hurts/Jackson got.

I’m surprised AR didn’t get them to trade for Adams.

Hawger, the bootlicking is blinding you, my friend. Here's why: you've already found out a ton about Gute, such as:

Gute is uncomfortable with superstars
Gute engineered the breakup of the best thing you had going since 2011

What else is there to know?
