Can I at least see a schedule? But to be honest, there is absolutely no fucking way of knowing.

Great, how does the schedule line up with games. You are still not comprehending the larger point and I am going to try again. No one FUCKING knows

You didn't understand that already? Maybe read into things a little.

I posted that because of the escalotors.

Vegan knows how hypothetical seasons in alternate universes went. He knows who would have won which super bowls had certain moves happened. He definitely knows what will happen this year, he must.

This is the second time you've written something that destroys your position.

What you really did was highlight the essence of why this was the wrong move. Here's Love's stat line for 2020:

Pass TDs: 0
Run TDs:
Rush Yards: 0
Pass Yards: 0
Tackles: 0
Sacks: 0
Deflections/INTs: 0
TFL: 0
QBR: 0
Receptions: 0

All you have to do is compare the expected stat line of the two draft picks Gute could have drafted instead of Love against the above. The opportunity cost is the difference between Love's impressive stats above and the stats of the two players they would have drafted had Gute not been a dumbass.

So, for example, if a CB they could have taken grabbed 9 INTs that year, then 9 CB INTs minus Love's 0 INTs = 9 INTs as part of the opportunity cost of drafting Love. So do that for all stats plus the expected win-share contribution for the regular season and playoffs. Who puts the Packers in a better position, FF? Love's solid but unspectacular numbers above, or the other two guys?

See, vegan, as i've said before, this is where I can't tell if you are trolling or genuinely incapable of critical thought when it comes to this. You can project and do whatever you want in terms of word diarrhea and mental masturbation, but there's no way to know what would happen. Maybe that CB is in an entirely different scheme and less effective, as Higgins might be in GB. Scheme fits and coaching are as important as anything in the league, and yet you are, I think, trying to seriously suggest a player would just perform the same way on any team in any year. It's why I can't take your thoughts here seriously, and it mostly just comes off as incoherent bad trolling.

I don't see where I said Higgins or whomever would produce identical stats in GB. I do think it's fair to assume those two players would have produced more statistically than Love, do you? We established Gute in his infinite wisdom chose a player who by design doesn't actually play football. This is sound logic according to his bootlickers. I provided Love's actual stats from 2020 - those are true numbers. We're now in the realm of math, not trolling. All you have to do is basic algebra.

Do you read what you write or nah? Just spit some nonsense about gute and gb being bad and dumb out and dont bother to check if it makes sense or even remember what you wrote?

btw, another example of pure gibberish. idk if this is your idea of trolling but i honestly dont know what it means, it just sounds like incoherent babbling. That is honest feedback on your trolling attemps.

The Packers could have drafted 2 players that would have helped them win a Super Bowl in 2020. Instead, they trade MULTIPLE picks for [Redacted] Love. You can't make this stuff up.

It's not gibberish, this is you being butthurt because you know he shut the window prematurely. Love didn't play football, that's factual. You don't draft players to not play when the window is open. See...virtually every team out there.

On stats, feel free to plug in simulated numbers but either way the point is the same. Whether you want to take actual stats from a CB and WR they could have drafted, or projected numbers, or if you want to discount their actual stats by say 30%, theyre still greater than 0. Hence that figure plus the associated win share projection is the opportunity cost.

Aaron Rodgers: Gute, I really appreciate this record contract. I'm going to get healthy and play at an MVP level. It would be helpful if you used our first round pick on an offensive player instead of another defender.

Gute: Say less. I give you my word; I will use our first pick on an offensive player.

Multiple? They traded a 4th. That’s it. If you think the 4th would have gotten them to the SB then you were watching a different team.

There were still NFL starters on the board in the 4th round. It sounds like you don't trust Gute.

I know two teams who haven't played in the real Super Bowls that have taken place over the last decade plus.

Bears
Packers

The difference is that outside of a year or a few players here and there, the Bears have had a bunch of shit on their roster, especially on offense. The Packers had a bonafied HOF'er taking the vast majority of their snaps and Pro Bowlers/All Pros protecting him and catching his passes.

Maybe we should join Vegan in his hypothetical seasons in alternate universes. That's the only way we would have been able to celebrate our teams winning a Super Bowl recently.

I agree that the Bears have been much worse than the Packers the last 10 years.

Nobody in pro sports has done less with more than the Aaron Rodgers Packers.

One could argue Mike Ditka only coaching one SuperBowl team with that roster was comparable.

Gute is once again at the top of his game. In between frolicking around the NYC sports scene and bringing his 35 year old all star squad to the Jets, Rodgers has made it known that he is only showing up for half of the remaining off season workouts.

Rodgers refused to work with Watson but he's willing to work with the Jets receivers. Sounds like a new Rodgers.

Nothing says "expect victory" quite like systematically dampening expectations for your starting QB. Go Pack!

the last time jordan love was a starter he threw 17 int, and 61% completion in the wiggidy, wiggidy, wiggidy WAC

The Packers are quietly playing for the 2024 draft

Good thing he sat for 3 years getting ready to then say that he isn't going to be able to step out on the field and immediately light this up.
