Is there a reason why he can't start right away? I know he's going into the bullpen and hopefully can help, but the rotation also needs help. If he's going to be a starter next season, why does it take an entire season to make that happen?

Robert has been on a tear recently. It's not going to amount to anything, but it's nice to see one thing go right.

I refuse to pretend Burger is good or LouBob has unlocked potential or Sheets will do more than hit one majestic homer per month.

TA sucks. Moncada & Kopech should be traded back to Boston for scissors. My buddy got an Eloy bobble head at the game recently and it came out of the box broken.

I’ll be this guy until Hahn & Kenny (especially Kenny) are fired and Jerry sells the team.

Been a lot of life out there the last two games. Pitchers pitching instead of throwing, balls from our bats going yard.

I don't disagree with the overall sentiment. I do think its a bit harsh overall.

Burger is a legit MLB bat. Dude will hit 30-40HRs if he's given 400 at bats. The issue he plays defense like he has a frying pan taped to his hands.

Every time LouBob slides into a base or dives for a ball, I expect him to either stay on the ground hurt or limp away. Every. Single. Time.

Of all the guys you mentioned, LouBob seems to have the biggest upside at the moment.

This team probably won't win a damn thing, but they are playing better ball as of late. They have already won more games in May than they did all of April.

The front office and ownership definitely needs to be gutted for any sort of true change in the White Sox to have an affect. Maybe this will be like a real life Major League where the team knows the ownership doesn't have their back, so they win to spite him.

Burger is on a roll, but that's all I'll commit to right now. Last night Benetti said he had swung at 23 straight pitches. Let's see what happens when every pitch doesn't happen find the sweet spot of the bat. I will say this, I don't know if I've seen a White Sock hit line drives harder since Dick Allen. Where the ball is still rising at the 350 mark.

Someone who's taking playing time away from Oscar Colas. The latter has been raking since being sent down to Charlotte. The former is a scrub who wouldn't be in MLB except for the Sox. Get Colas back up here and let him learn on the job.

Nardi, Burger has 19 career homers in less than 300 at bats. That's pretty good.

Since the beginning of last season, Burger has hit more HRs than Abreu, Anderson, Moncada, Miguel Cabrera, Oneil Cruz, Ian Happ, Josh Donaldson, Ronald Acuna, among others. (Eloy and Javy Baez have only hit one more over the time frame)

He's done this with ~250 at bats. Most of the other guys I mentioned have way more at bats, some of them double.

If you accept the fact that the season is lost, there's absolutely no reason to leave him down. Although, I think Sheets would be the obvious guy to lose playing time if he is called back up.

The bar for success for this rebuild is a World Series. In that sense, this absolutely is going to be a lost season.
I will not consider this season a success should they 'turn it around' and win 85-86 games then lose the Wild Card/Division series.

DFA Grandal and Sheets can get at bats at DH as well.

Burger seems like a beast. Gordon Beckham, I had him penciled in for 40 doubles a year. The guy raked that 1st year after destroying every minor league level. I was never so sure of a prospect in my life. I realized I don't know shit about hitting, never did, never will. From then on, I ain't saying shit about wet behind the ears hitters.

Yeah. Beckham. Man....that was mindboggling really.

I think the difference with Burger is that I don't think or expect him to be a high average hitter. If he can stick around and stay healthy, he could be a guy that hits 200-250+ homers, with a career batting average around .230

They will be sellers at the deadline. Impossible for this team to win 80 games.

He doesn't give a fuck at this point. Might as well IL him. Sosa sucked, but at least he gave you effort.

Anderson's head just has not been in baseball since the goomah story broke. He went from a guy looking to be the face of a new era of baseball to a guy cashing checks

Fun fact. In his last 14 games (including all of 2022) against Cleveland, Tim has 11 errors.
