The Packers opted to draft a question mark at QB with their first pick rather than add to their offense and try to win another Super Bowl.

Opportunity cost indeed.

They dont draft offense in the 1st. It would have been another CB. Big deal. Happy to have Love at this cost for one year, easy to move off if it doesnt work out with extra draft capital next year to use. Future is bright.

We've talked about this. Bears and GB in very similar positions. Each QB is on a one year try out. You guys just gave up way more for yours.

No we didn't.

You know the true cost for love, bootlicker.

There's an objective factual cost for each player. Fields cost about 3x much as Love did in draft capital value.

Then there is you assigning hypothetical super bowls to teams based on hypothetical alternate picks. Yeah I guess Love costs more in that fantasyland.

The correct term is "opportunity cost" and that does have to be factored in. Still...I agree with you that the Bears gave up more for fields and going into next year....very similar 1 year try-outs.

The Bears didn't give up a SB by drafting Fields. The Packers gave up at least 1 by drafting Love.

You have crushed us forever about only winning 2 Super Bowls in 30 years and now you are just gifting us another one. Pick a lane.

Lets revise history and imagine a world where the Packers DIDN't draft Jordan Love and the picked Trevon Diggs or Tee Higgins instead....I'm not convinced they win another Super Bowl

Your organization didn't want more than 2. I guess that's okay when you've had two of the greatest quarterbacks ever for the past 30 years.

Go back during Love and Higgin's rookie years. Feel free to compare projected Higgins stats in the Pack offense during that year against Love's actual stats that year. Let us know your findings. Love was pretty productive that year so I'm guessing the difference between the two will be nail-bitingly close.

Again, you guys have crucified this team for only winning 2 Championships but seem to Love to hand out hypothetical trophies. it is quite interesting.

Packers fans among most intelligent; Bears fans not so much, according to online betting site

The social media analysis tool Hypeauditor was used to rank the education level of the social media followers for every team in the NFL, based on the findings of “How Much Does Education Improve Intelligence? A Meta-Analysis,” by Stuart Ritchie and Elliott Tucker-Drob.

Buffalo Bills fans were found to be the smartest in the NFL, their notorious tailgating hijinks aside, while Packers fans ranked fifth, just ahead of the Dallas Cowboys. Bears fans, on the other hand, were 29th. And, this will appeal to Packers fans even more, New York Jets fans, the new proud followers of one Aaron Rodgers, ranked 30th, and Minnesota Vikings fans ranked 31st. New York Giants fans were dead last.

Dude, I would have expected at least a source from you. This reads like a sports cheap charlie post. All you have to do is replace the sports references with Clinton, Biden and Trump references.

Interesting, remember when the Packers used Rodger's contract as a excuse/shield for not signing or re-signing their best players?

Jets invest in star DT to maximize chances at winning with superstar QB

Packers invest in rookie QB to rob superstar QB of much-needed weapons on the field of play

GB took the massive cap hit for the Rodgers trade but FF said it was no big deal as no free agents were available to use on it anyways.

It's not about surrounding your aging star quarterback with talent when your championship window is open. It's about preparing for a new era.

Championship windows let an irritating draft in. Best to rush to close the window asap.
