The stepson continues to mourn in his own way. Not using the Twitter link as it’s a half naked lady in it.

this kid fucking rules. It's his STEP dad. Twitter mob needs to chill the fuck out. Step son living his best life and there's zero shame in that. I hope Steppy spends this weekend his face planted in some IG thot's ass with Longview blasting on repeat and his iphone on Do Not Disturb.

I like how the chicks in the replies are torn between calling him out and thinking "he's either currently
or about to be independently rich AF
" and not wanting to cut off the chance they can slide in his DM's later and land some cash.

Step Brian thoughts-and-prayered himself...it's like he heard people say this thing when others were having a personal tragedy and so followed suit in an attempt to appear a normal human

12 hours left. More "banging" noises. Source unconfirmed. Gotta be sex noises. They gave up on the Morse code and started fucking each other. Would be funny to see a couple of them still connected when they find the wreckage.

Anyone see what the owner of that "Submarine" said about hiring pilots for his business. He said he didn't recruit any former "submariners" from the military saying that they were too "boring" and wanted someone who would be more exciting on the job.? He said also that he didn't want any 51 year old white guys on his crew. Apparently the guy is really into the "woke" crap also. And also that the submarine was steered by a video game controller that retails for about 30 bucks!

Wanna bet me, the controller ran out of batteries and they didn't bring extra?

How much money is being spent searching for these goofballs? I hope the various countries expending resources put in claims on these billionaires estates.

This maybe one of the more stupid things I have read this morning on this deal.

These people are not explorers and to act like they are is idiotic. They are not doing a damn thing for discovery. This is an insult to people who really have risked their lives for exploration and discovery.

Matt Walsh:

Quote:
I instinctively have a lot of respect for people who do daring and dangerous things for the sake of exploration and discovery. That's why I just can't understand the reflexive contempt that everyone on this site seems to have for the people trapped in the submersible. It's the opposite of how I think about these things. I don't get it.
We used to respect people who were willing to risk their lives for the sake of exploration. Now we openly despise them and laugh when they die. The old attitude was much healthier. This new attitude is sick and depraved.

Right, this isn't an act of discovery propelled by curiosity so much as it is an act of social signification ostensibly designed to confirm the hegemony of the nouveau leisure class. The whole trip is intended less to be an experience (especially given the sensory deprivation involved) than it is intended to provide a story about an imagined experience. It is therefore something even more vacuous than conspicuous consumption--it is the conspicuous narrativization of (non) consumption desperately trying to ascend to the level of "legitimate" experience.

I would have said it more elegantly, and with more obscure words, but I agree.

It is a shame but a cost that didn’t have to be charged.

I view this like people who try and climb Mt. Everest and pay a lot of money. Every year someone one dies who had no business ever trying to climb the mountain and dies in the process. I wonder what kind of liability contract the passengers had to sign to get into that sub in the first place?

I saw that they all signed waivers. In the waiver it mentioned death as a possibility 3 times in the first page. So they were aware. Didn't care. Weren't worried. Didn't mind that standards weren't met like other subs that have done this. It think this has been done a dozen times or so with no problems.

Nobody will ever do this again. Well, I shouldn't say ever. 20 or 30 years from now, when time passes, somebody will do it again. But it will be at least 20 years I think. When is the Titanic just gonna rot away?

I'd like to bang Kate Winslett. That would be a connection to the Titanic for me. I don't have 250k. But I'd pay her a grand.

Winslet: Deal!!!!

Beardown:  But it's gotta be 1997 you. Can you make that happen?

Winslet: No.

Beardown: Ok. Then 75 bucks. We'll do it on a broken off door in a pool. I'll prove to you that you could have saved Leo if you shared it with him.

Whatever they did, it didn't work. Oxygen is now out. Even if theyre at the surface, they can't breathe. Even if they find them in the next hour, they're still dead.

One of the most hilarious true stories I've seen in my life. I can't stop laughing.

This is a horrifying story. You know they didn't all die at once so you just had to sit there and watch people die knowing you are next and being reminded what a dumb decision this was.

This makes me wonder which if the conflicting religious views apply here. Is it "God gave us free will" or "God works in mysterious ways"?
