I don't really get it either. Yea it would be nice for the show to pay her, but why would they be obligated to? It was a job and the money she has been paid is the paycheck. If she really grew the show bigger than expected, so what? Welcome to the rest of the world where people make millions for the company they work for and get a fake gold watch for retirement.

My wife and I were talking about this and really the show would be able to go on without Vanna quite easily. In my opinion she should have the option to keep turning letters for a final season or whatever if she wants but those letters can turn themselves in the future.
