I agree that they did help older people or those with underlying conditions and could reduce a more severe illness.

However, we were told that they would prevent you from spreading the virus to others and that you wouldn't become infected after receiving a shot. Neither were true. The CDC lost a lot of credibility for not being honest.

People who are younger (say under 65) and/or healthy should not have been mandated to receiver a shot.

I think it's the genetics that can cause you to be susceptible...so getting the vaccine isn't a bad idea if you don't know if you're at risk.
