David Carr recently said on the NFL Network that the biggest problem with the Bears' offense is the coaching staff.

He said that Flus was uninformed when it comes to quarterback development and that Getsy doesn't understand how to coach a guy with Fields' ability.

It's possible that Flus, Getsy and Fields are all bad.

Given the Bears history, this is probably the most likely scenario.

I'm not head over heels for either, but there aren't many who know how to coach someone like Fields. I'm not going to just dismiss the first half of last season, but Getsy changed things and there were objective results. We had an offense that could keep up with anyone in the second half

Well, Flus is awfully puffy-chested for a guy whose offensive knowledge comes, as he himself has described, from "talking to Phillip Rivers a lot" about offensive football.

Getsy didn't do much to impress me as a play-caller last year, but he had little to work with.
