Not sure. The report said he was walking off with trainers.

are there any reports about any of the three late round OL picks from last year (Thomas, Kramer, Carter). They were all projects who probably need to show something in camp to stick around.

Nate Davis is looking like a terrible signing. I wanted the guard from Baltimore.

Biggs said this morning that Davis has the reputation for being the kind of player who needs "everything to be right" if he is going to play.

Yup, Vrabel did not like him for precisely that reason.

They did not draft or sign a center, seemed to make more sense to solidify that spot and keep Whitehair at guard so you had some veteran depth, now you are paper thin across the offensive line and are counting on a rookie to start day one at RT.

Heard a bit of Jurko talking about how the Bears have decided to build from the outside in rather than shore up the interior of both lines, nothing derails an offense like interior pressure, Fields tends to turn his back on the defense and leak out laterally with any interior pass rush pressure, seems quite a few of his turnovers and sacks came when he pulled the ball down and starter nervously leaking out to the right.

counting on a rookie to start day 1? He's a top 10 pick. That's a reasonable expectation.

The Bears are expected, on opening day, to start an OL from each of the last three drafts.

So can we get a house cleaning when this team sucks again (per usual) this year?

Darnell Wright has been getting beaten A LOT early in camp--including by Undrafted Rookie Free Agents.

I'm hearing that Doug Kramer is starting to impress at center.

David Carr recently said on the NFL Network that the biggest problem with the Bears' offense is the coaching staff.

He said that Flus was uninformed when it comes to quarterback development and that Getsy doesn't understand how to coach a guy with Fields' ability.

Imagine being so good at something that nobody can coach you to make you actually good at that thing.

It's possible that Flus, Getsy and Fields are all bad.

Given the Bears history, this is probably the most likely scenario.

I'm not head over heels for either, but there aren't many who know how to coach someone like Fields. I'm not going to just dismiss the first half of last season, but Getsy changed things and there were objective results. We had an offense that could keep up with anyone in the second half

Very true. But I dont think Carr has much insight into whether they are good or bad.

The Bears social media keeps posting highlights of him, but in the clips he's either false starting or holding

Well, Flus is awfully puffy-chested for a guy whose offensive knowledge comes, as he himself has described, from "talking to Phillip Rivers a lot" about offensive football.

Getsy didn't do much to impress me as a play-caller last year, but he had little to work with.

I don’t trust any negative reporting on Wright that doesn’t also mention him crushing the conditioning test.
