They're good enough to get everyone hyped only for the fanbase to have the rug pulled out from under them in classic style.

We were expecting to be around 76 wins. Anything more is fun. Cubs fans are happy we have something fun to watch each night, knowing full well we won't see our team win in the playoffs.

whoa whoa whoa . hold up fellas. Antioch is a good guy, even for a Wsox fan.

He like many other sox fans don't know how to react to this surprise cubs team. Mix that with the white sox were supposed to be going after a World Series 3 peat and he's just at a loss of on how to react. He like many other wsox fans only know to lash out at cubs fans even if it makes no sense. It's a hereditary thing passed on into their DNA from generation to generation. Like a wild animal.

i will give Antioch a pass . he's not as bad as shitMike and Frankie Drescher.

Cubs suck. Real bad. Maybe a mediocre team but most likely a middling finisher in an awful division. They suck. Super hard. Suck, suck, suck.

Primus sucks too...

Frank would love for his team to be good enough to have the rug pulled out from under them.

I am not expecting them to win anything in the big picture. But I am happy that they are giving us some entertaining baseball and hopefully they can keep adding some pieces in the next couple years to be contenders. They have been an easy team to cheer for this year. I can't really think of any player that I truly dislike or want gone. So thats nice as well.

Poor Frank and Mike think if the Cubs don't make the playoffs that the fan base will devastated this year. There were no expectations by anyone outside of a Score host for them to be good. If they make it great, if not, oh well.

This isn't a team like the current White Sox or 04 Cubs. Teams that were disliked by the fan base and disappointments.

yup - this is a very likable team. by far one of the most likeable and since 2016 the only one.

and the way they play ball is what is great. There's no HR or nothing bullshit like there was after 2016. They can play long ball and small ball. And like you saw in the game today, they won the game playing small ball and getting key hits.

There is no doubt Swanson is the leader (far right) , followed by Bellinger (far left), and now Candyman (middle).

Image

They're gonna be in this division race all the way until the last day. The Reds had their push but now they've cooled off and are going back to normal. The brewers are struggling and the cubs are playing good baseball at the right time.

The last weekend of the season is 3 at the Brewers. The division title will be decided in that series. As a cub fan what more can you ask for than being in the race until the final day!

IT'S A FUN CLUB TO WATCH!

Damn, tickets are dirt cheap for Cubs @ Mets. $4 for upper deck, $15-20 for lower deck

Last week when the Cubs were in St. Louis there were tickets going for $7 in their bleachers...and that was including the cost of the tickets. The Mets traded their top two pitchers and have lost (checks MLB) six in a row, so we'll see how this one goes.

Frank had the rug pulled out from under him in the middle of a so called championship window last season. Fairly early last season at that.

There are some Cubs fans that seem to be all to happy and willing to continue posting about the White Sox, even with their team playing well above expectations.

Why are they saying it matters why Senga is coming out of the game, implying he’s faking an injury. They can take him out for any reason.

rain delay

we only got one starter

that's a big problem.

they've played well thru it but shit like tonight with smyly basically losing the game in the first inning can't happen any more. Hard to ask you offense to score 10 runs every game to bail your ass out.

It's not necessary to say "far left" and "far right" in a picture with three people.

Yeah but it seemed obvious there was going to be a long rain delay at that point.
