I guess that you don't count yourself as a fan because you have no one to blame but yourself when real fans mock you for being so short-sighted about Fields terrific talent. That is solely on you.

What is the evidence for his talent.

This could be the most important regular season game of the year. Some fans know he's great, some fans know he's shit, but the vast majority are in between. But they will turn on him over 10 yd passes at a receiver's feet. Because everybody knows 10 yd passes at somebody's feet AIN'T MECHANICS. Good QBs can throw a 10 yd pass falling down sidearm.

Nationally seems most are in the Fields is MVP candidate/Bears are dark horse wild card candidate category.

Yeah for sure. Or we could meet at Mo’s on 13. That is closer for you by about 25 minutes. That is my normal Packers bar.

I also need to get my sleds over to Hancock for servicing at the Polaris dealership, but I do not think they’re open on Sundays.

2nd all time rushing for a quarterback in NFl history isn't an indication of talent?

Si the ability for a quarterback to rush for over 1000 yards not a talent? Come-on, rook, say it. Did you see Field on a 3rd and 7 escape the rush and run for 20 yards?

Yes, admittedly the six point explosion thus far is making me rethink his limitations.

How far away is Fields from 4,000 yards as of now?

Guy seems to telegraph every non-improvised play. I’m about done with him.

I’ve seen enough. He has no idea how to pass out of the pocket. Also shame on the coaches for this team not being prepared for this game.

He’s terrible. He can’t be taught. Stares down every throw, and my impression from today is that they’ve coached the run out of him.

Not dissimilar from what happened to (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky when he tried to be a pocket passer absent any ability to be a pocket passer.

Fields is an amazing athlete who sucks at his job.

Gee, who would've ever thought that a guy who struggled to complete passes consistently in training camp 7 on 7s against a bad defense would play poorly in live action against a better defense?

This isn't rocket surgery.

Fields sucks. The Bears suck. The end.

Correct. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky has less physical talent, but (and this is astounding to say) a better feel for and understanding of his position. Fields is nothing but a collection of traits--he's fast, agile, strong, and has a strong arm. But there's nothing bringing all of that together.

Nagy killed his confidence. He should have never played his rookie year. He chose to check down on every play to pad his stats, and still missed receivers.

Did you lift that from Al Pacino’s pitch to Colin Farrell in The Recruit ??

Earlier in this thread, I believe I described Fields as the guy who comes into the gym with the right gear, has the right walk, and bounces the ball the right way, but when the game starts, he's a fucking bum.

He's easily the most physically gifted quarterback we've ever had. This shit made me sick today.

Hi Hawg.

Getting Jordan Love's mom tickets was a red flag right off the bat. If you're going to pretend to be "above" the rivarly you better have the play to back it up. This guy to this point hasn't had a game half as good as Mitch vs Tampa Bay in 2017.

Dude got high on his own supply in the off-sesaon. He bought his own hype and now he think he's the man. Good luck putting that genie back in the bottle. The Bears indulged it all too. They never pleaded caution, or said he has a ton of work still to do, or that things to this point where never near good enough.
