What were you watching? Yeesh.

It reminded me of watching a top 25 team v an FBS school.

They could run whenever they wanted and get 5-10 yards.

You were pleased with the run defense?

Yeah, I did. The problems came when the Buccaneers had to pass. If we could get it to 3 and 5 or less, the Bears would usually get the stop.

We're holding opponents to about 3 yards a carry despite losing the ToP battle in both games.

I think he was trolling with that post. Who says the QB did well for two drives when he doubles interceptions over tds, including a pick6, and two goddamn fumbles.

Because he generally sucks passing. I can't recall a game in his career where he was excellent passing for 2 drives.

They were also on the field for 40 mins. The run defense isn't the problem. The pass rush and Stevenson are.

Nas I don't think we know how bad the run defense is because the pass defense is so bad nobody really has to really try out a serious run game.

Baker Mayfield had almost 300 yards passing the first half. It was a miracle the score was not out of reach by then. Fields was sacked how many times? Mr Run could not scramble for anything and throws picks. Is he trying to be bad?

I was so baffled by the pxp guy being like "the Bucs have dominated time of possession but with so little to show for it,, does it even matter?" They burned out the Bears defense and made them look even worse at the end of the game than they did at the beginning, so I think it mattered very much.

Yeah, it shouldn't have been hard for them to understand that a defense staying on the field for nearly 40 minutes in 100 degree weather will have problems at the end of the game.

It was a three point game late in the 4th quarter. It was a stupid play call by Getz on the 3 yard pass on first down. What the fuck was that call all about?

because he didn’t trust his quarterback to take a drop into the end zone because he had watched him hanging on to the ball the entire game and not throwing it and was afraid he was going to take a safety? That ever cross your mind?

I'm old enough to have enjoyed the Stormin', Butter, Sloan, Jet, Boerwinkle Bulls. And Jerry West taught me how to hate. The Stadium was kickass. Back when everybody smoked and a fog would develop by halftime.
