I called this interception problem in the offseason. Coaches are trying to make him into an actual NFL QB and he's regressing. The only reason he doesn't have more INTs is because he's completely trigger-shy at this point.

And they’ve seemingly killed his running instincts in the process.

Why not just settle for Lamar Jackson if it's clear he's never going to be a real quarterback? This coaching staff is awful. If they had the balls to hire Harbaugh this team would win the division hands down this year.

The one positive right now is that Fields being bad isn't setting the Bears plan back by years. Two first round draft picks next year and then whatever other draft capital Poles can muster this year. He can probably cut a few trades by the deadline, maybe even get some picks for Fields in the process. The defense was at least 2-3 years from competing without decent pass rushers.

It's because he also isn't good at being Lamar Jackson. Jackson is a great passer compared to Fields. He can beat you with his arm. Fields can't.

The Bears' odds of having multiple top 5 picks in 2024 is high. One way or another, better days are ahead.

I'm hoping they trade down again and draft a non-premium position like off the ball linebacker or kick returner.

Stacking Harrison or Bowers with Maye or Williams could give Bears fans a decade erection. Moore and Johnson will still be around too.

You might have to re-draft Left Tackle with one of those

If he stays away from Kreutz, he'll be fine. There isn't a player that has gotten better working with Kreutz.

Not necessarily if Poles is making those picks.

I still believe in Poles. Plus, I don't think Nagy could ruin Bowers and Harrison.

They are in the midst of a 12 game losing streak, which is likely to be 13 in a few days. Would be really difficult if not impossible to not see better days soon.

That should make it easier. It can't get worse and you are getting a clear answer about the quarterback and.

We can be assured they will fuck up their picks the same as they have for the last 35 years or so.

Today Shannon Sharpe told me that Getsy needs to go back and look at Ohio St footage and run the plays Fields was comfortable in executing and he’ll b fine . College plays where his receivers were wide open and he had all day to throw. That’s what he needs to do. Run those plays. Meanwhile Screaming A just feels sorry that Fields is being coached the way he is and needs to get out of Chicago because he’s being ruined .

Heard Kreutz this morning say Braxton Jones was fine and just needs to clean up the penalties!

Seeing Fields fail this like and having people still make excuses for him has to be like Christmas for brogue.

He's playing like a rookie. Something he avoided doing most of his rookie season.

He's playing like a 5th round pick. The best left tackles in the NFL, you find are drafted in Round 1 or 2.

Yes, a QB being drafted or acquired by the Bears is a career killer. Pull an Elway.

3rd and 13.... they think so little of fields passing skill they do a doable spy. so man to man, cover 1, one spy on each side of the line, rush 3. its fucking man coverage, he wasnt able to see that right away? the second he sees its man you get it to your best wr considering the cb was off him 13 yards. that was the correct play call and that dig had to have been the primary read there. wtf
