I think it'll be both or neither. I don't expect Eberflus to be fired unless the Bears are winless into November or consistently give the effort they gave against the Packers.

I think equal criticism should be given to Eberflus for the lack of preparation this team is showing. Even if you have Mahomes under center it's still not acceptable to be this uncoordinated on both sides of the ball. That's on the Hc.

Outside of the Packers game, they've consistently given the necessary effort. The issue is talent at quarterback and the defensive line.

If Fields ends up not being the guy at the end of the year, it would be a pretty tough sell to bring back the head coach and OC with a brand new young quarterback next year when they've absolutely failed to get anything out of their current young quarterback.
I hope Ryan Poles is already shopping for current NFL offensive coordinators with a history of success with young quarterbacks.

I don't think that would be fair..If none of the other draft picks develop then I think they'll all be gone.

He ended up being not the guy at the beginning of the preseason when they didn't want to show anyone how bad he was

Now I'm sure one of you losers will pull up an example of UDFA Jason Peters, but that is the extreme exception to the rule. The fact REMAINS the best tackles in the NFL are taken high in the draft.

The sad reality is that the offense looked better with Bagent at QB.

It makes you wonder what Fields actually did when he was supposedly working out all offseason because he looks like he has declined significantly as a pocket passer.

If you are the OC you have to dumb down the game plan and go with QB runs and move the pocket at this point or your ass is going to be fired.

From Carmen and Jurko today

Justin Fields now losing 10 straight as a starter is the longest losing streak by a Bear in the Super Bowl era. It's the longest active streak in the NFL.

Super Bowl era (1966) worst record first 27 starts.
4-23 Steve BeBerg
4 -22-1 Randy Johnson
5-22 Justin Fields (tied 2 others)

J.Fields/Bears season win total adjustment down. Raheem favors taking the under on the Bears adj win total of 5 1/2 at -115

Fun begins around 11:30.

For extra fun, before the Bears segment, Raheem fellates the Packers for 5 minutes before ending the Packers segment quoting Nas/Mary J Blige lyrics.

He's done. Even if he strings together a few good games this horrific loss streak will never leave his brain

We could be in the nfc championship game with 2min to go down by 2 and he would be thinking "what if I blow it like I do my boyfriend"

Fields is blaming the coaches for giving him too much information. That's prevented him from playing like himself. I'm not sure if we've ever had a quarterback who refuses to take accountability for his play like this kid.

The kid is a clown. He's not a leader or a quarterback.

What did he say?

All he needs to do is throw the fucking ball. He sees the open receivers.

Mully and Haugh also suggested this morning Fields is on some type of medication for his mental situation.

I do think the coaches are idiots too, and that is feeding in to the overall idiocy that is the Chicago Bears.

A good to great QB overcomes these issues and moves the ball downfield. Even an average QB likely wins in Tampa on Sunday. If Fields is this mentally weak, he doesn't belong in the NFL as a starting QB.

This is all him. He's been this type of brat since he arrived. He was whining about not being a leader his rookie season before he had accomplished anything. He's a clown.

He thought he was a #1 pick and he went to 9th in the draft because everyone knew he sucked.

Fields is trying to burn everything down.

“You know, could be coaching I think . . . they are doing their job when they are giving me what to look at, but at the end of the day, I can’t be thinking about that when the game comes," Fields said. "I prepare myself throughout the week and then when the game comes, it’s time to play free at that point. Thinking less and playing more.”

Mitch: Sat behind a guy for three years that coudn't make an NFL roster.

Justin: Couldn't beat out Jake Fromm at Georgia.
