When does Mancow start?

No problem, planned on it. Funny thing I noticed today, he has updated, dontisuck.com or northtonorth.com yet, sorta funny coming off a losing night after declaring he was back.

Its a first, no mention of someone getting something he felt he should have and big surprise here, no mention of his slump in dontpickyourass.com. North went very much out of his way to avoid dontfademe,com talk, sorta funny.

Hood was on, not awful, just the same crap. North did admit that he pays to do this webio show, which i didnt know, he has made it sound like melman is paying him, but thats not the case. Alot of pushing for fess up day and the comcast deal. FYI, the deal with comcast sounds bad, jen is going to havea huge on air part and it allready sounds like north is trying to work jigs out, that is my prediction, he and jigs will have a falling out within 6 months, show off in a year.

Other then that, nothing much.

Is she going to do cartwheels in the background for three hours?

I would assume pappy is a spender, considering he is getting free meals at wildfire now, he has to be saving on the food bill. Listen, as much of a douchebag I might think he is, i dont wish him to go broke or anything.

Though at this point you must consider the strong possibilty the chefs are spitting in his food by now.

BD, Mancow starts Monday @ 9a on "The Big 89", with Pat Cassidy riding shotgun. Under the terms of Mancow's new 2 year deal with 890 WLS, Mancow will still do his syndicated "Morning Madhouse" from a separate studio at the corner of State & Lake, and will then do the 9-11a show exclusively on WLS. Since Mancow left Q101.1 in 2006, not one Chicago station has signed on to broadcast his "Madhouse", even though he's been here since 1994 at the former "Rock 103.5" before he joined WKQX, I believe in 1996 when WRCX became WUBT "The Beat" & its current WKSC "KISS FM". A lawsuit Mancow filed when Q101.1 terminated his contract is still pending. Mancow accuses management at "Chicago's Alternative" of improperly taking files from his home & demeaned him with rumors that blocked him of signing on at another station.

Mancow at WLS is trainwreck written all over it. Jay Marvin was bad enough with the paranoia; Mancow will take it to a brand new level of bad.

I'm guessing this show will be strict politics/social issues, which means I won't be listening. I loved his show during college with all the prank calls, and Turd was great.

When I was working nights in the mid-nineties I remember stumbling across Jay Marvin's show and thinking WTF?!?!

Was that an act or was that guy that much of a loon? Come to think of it, he reminds me of North a little bit. He never really listened to anybody, he just waited for his turn to talk...he who yells the loudest is right. I think he and Nick Digilio are sound-alikes, btw.

I don't think it was an act. I think he was that disturbed.

They should have just kept Eileen Byrne. Maybe paired her with someone else.
