Nothing's changed over the years. The FBI wanted blood, and the messiah was more than happy to give it to them. There were more assholes in a sq mile area than a Charlottesville taffy pull.

That sniper guy, how did he ever pass a psych evaluation?

If you look WACO, Ruby ridge and the other stand offs came so close to one another. The surprise that a OKL City event didnt happen but that more didnt

The tattooed guy? I thought he was a little colorful but seemed to get the broader implications of what happened.

He certainly seemed more human than that Bob Ricks asshole from the FBI.

His first words were ,we should have just shot them all.

They left out a lot, like the fact they where getting advice not to pressure them as all it would do is make them stand harder.
One thing to think about , if they wanted a start shooting then why did they let the informant go? Nothing will convince me that the Feds did not shoot first. Add in the fact they lost surprise, they should have aborted.

found a great competition reality show on Netflix. Outlast. 16 people stranded in Alaska, form teams of 4 and basically try and live and drive the other people to quit. Last person/team standing gets $1,000,000.

I've got one ep left and it's been a fantastic show. More cut throat than any reality show I've ever seen. There are literally no rules and some of the people take full advantage of that.

As far as reality shows go this is top tier.

If you kill your opponents in their sleep, are they judged to have quit?

I don't want to spoil anything, but you can go into other team's camps and steal crap or destroy stuff. You can also try and get people to leave their team and join yours. If a team has 1 person that person has to either find a new team to join or leave the game (fire their flare).

that's the one thing they haven't touched on, actual violence vs your opponents. They allow anything else, but so far no one has tried to physically go after some one else.

So they made a non-murderous Hunger Games?

That sounds awesome. Will watch.

Hopefully it turns violent by the time I’m caught up.

I've only got one ep left and no violence yet so I don't think we'll get that, but it has everything else in terms of people doing mean stuff to each other or just losing their shit because of the elements.

A million bucks is a million bucks. You could have any dignity I have left if I get that in return.

After taxes you’re netting like $100k, all for living in the woods for a month while somebody uses your tent as a urinal.

they haven't really explained how the winner is determined and if it's split amongst teh winning team or if it goes to an individual. But by the end there isn't necessarily a team of 4 winning it so that would mean less people to divide the cash.

It wasn't horrendous but it wasn't worth my time. I'm watching Suits. It's laughably bad. At some point, I'll probably get sick of a bunch of crooks blackmailing each other with stuff they pull out of their ass over drinks.

I never really got in to anime but One Piece put the Disney/Marvel/LucasFilm/Amazon garbage to shame. Disney in particular should be embarrassed when comparing their fight choreography in Ahsoka with One Piece. Same with Amazon and Rings of Power. The original creator was involved so Netflix couldn't churn out a POS like they usually do. It will be interesting to see if its popularity changes the way these hacks do adaptations and will be more respectful of the source.

If you like baseball at all, you will enjoy this. If you have kids, it will tug at your heartstrings. This was such a cool flick.

Quote:
‘The Saint of Second Chances’

The sports documentary tells the redemption story of baseball innovators Bill and Mike Veeck.

Mike Veeck, son of MLB franchise owner Bill Veeck, blows up his father's career. Exiled from the game he loves, the younger Veeck spends the next few decades clawing his way up from rock bottom, determined to redeem himself.
