Steven Seagal is in Under Siege, but is Under Siege a Steven Seagal movie?

yes he was a fresh action star. 6'4 guy and lean and mean.

Above the Law was the best flick, his first one .

I will revisit Hard to Kill. I remember I liked that one too.

Most of them were entertaining. Almost none of them were 'good'

15 year old me was a fan of Above the Law, Hard to Kill and Marked for Death. Not going to say they were great but they were fun. Marked for Death probably less so.

Casey. In some kitchen scenes you can see a menu and one item is Casey's (something or other I forget).

Under Siege 2 might be the biggest pile of shit ever to play on a movie screen.

Little known fact. The cook turned mercenary that was marching on Moscow to take out Putin got the idea from the movie Under Siege.

Seagal should have kept the Nico character from the first movie all the way thru all the movies.

Like John Rambo.

Seagal signed on to do a movie then met the Dalai Lama. He turned up on the set refusing to kill anyone so the director had to tell him the bad guys were evil and unhappy and only thru reincarnation would they have the opportunity to redeem themselves. Seagal liked the sound of that and agreed to kill the bad guys per the script.

i remember in the early 90s reading a pice about him in rolling stone i think that shread hi to pieces. he claimed he was ex cia and navy seal. but when he had a scene in the water, he freaked out and was asking to be rescued.

a real navy seal guy was on the set and was like this guy is such a phony. a real navy seal in the ocean would not panic like that and would understand ocean currents etc..

that was the point hollywood turned on him.

Its true the movie was called Glimmerman and it was terrible. If I remember right he plays a master of stealth but he's close to 300 pounds so he's waddling around and its very obvious when they use a double.

He also did a movie with one of the Wayans it was when he first became a Buddhist so he wanted a positive set. He wanted the language removed from the script and no language on set. He was talking to Wayans about how he should become a Buddhist because of the inner peace and all that when he got a call from his ex-wife about the kids. The next thing Wayans hears is Seagal screaming into the phone "You f**king b*tch that's not what we agreed to!!!"

Marked for Death is playing on HBO today.

It's on HBO Max too.

This weekend Hard to Kill is on one of the cable channels per tv guide.
