Guys like Doncic and Wemby start playing in the pro Euro leagues at like age 16. They're accustomed to playing against bitter 30 something guys who never made it in the NBA and are trying to injure them every time these kids touch the ball. Sports journos love to vote for a story. Embiid's out as an MVP candidate, you can't shit the bed in the playoffs like that over and over and repeat. Jokic is the MVP but, like Lebron during his prime, he won't win it when he should. who's left, Giannis? Steph? Booker? Tatum?

Maybe SGA, but if the voters are willing to vote for SGA on what's likely a mid-40's win OKC team, why not go all the way and vote for Wemby on team with possibly a similar record. If SGA gets OKC over 50 wins and meets the games played requirement, then he'll at least be top 5 this year in MVP voting again.
