Heading to the UC for Hawks game tomorrow with college bestie and his college aged son who is not an adventurous eater.

Figured I would take them to Little Goat Diner, but then found out it moved to Southport corridor. So I'm clearly out of my element since moving to the suburbs a few years ago.

Any recommendations for a casual dinner around the UC? I was thinking the Loyalist, but it's a pretty limited menu if you don't get the burger.

A few years ago we ate at the Haymarket pub on Randolph before a Hawks game. It was an easy walk from the metra station and as I recall it had a free bus to and from the game. Food and service were good.

I want to say we went to Anthony's or something like that years ago and Rosebud's isn't too far from the UC either.

Do they have a branch in Wisconsin?

I hope their food is better than their website.

Oh I am, but a little out of the way for what we were looking for.

Ended up at Green St Meats. Haven’t been there since they moved to the new location, place is massive. Was very good, perfect spot for what we were looking for.
