I look forward to seeing Maye consistently overthrow and underthrow Harrison next season!

Drunk Maye got disemboweled by a subpar Clemson team last night.

I’m not sure of any certain QB yet.. but Harrison Jr. is my top prospect in this draft. Hopefully the Bears feel the same and find a way to come out with him.

Id say right now I like Maye/McCarthy/Williams/Nix at QB probably in that order

I am not an avid college football fan, but I haven't been impressed with the little I've seen from Maye and Williams. Maye often stares down his receivers and was all over the place last night. Williams holds the ball longer than Fields and is a midget.

I am in the same boat. I have not been overly impressed with any of them. Bo Nix has been the most impressive to me in the games I have watched, but then I read about his problems processing and that sounds awful. So who the fuck knows? I was not impressed at all with Stroud in college either and he looks like an All Pro for the next 10 years.

Do any of them actually look better than Fields did in college?

I think Williams looked better than Fields last year. But he has not this year.

But for the most part the answer is no and that includes Stroud.

So again who the fuck knows.

Agreed. Williams was awesome last year. This year hasn’t been as good.

Fields was not better than Williams in his college career. He had one game against Clemson.

Didn't Fields have his best game this season (well, his only W this season at least, 1-7(?) now this season) against the Redskin Commanders as well? Washington Commanders --giving false hope to desperate fan-bases since 2022.

Justin Fields fans brutal in the replies. Funny but brutal. Since Elon Musk took over twitter (what a year ago only?) and methodically driven it into the ground, twitter's gotten back some of its pre-2016/pre-Trump/pre-#METOO flavor. You're really taking Fields being disappointing hard.

I didn't watch the game yesterday, so I can't speak to his performance. That said, one game doesn't make a player. I did watch the game last week and Maye made clutch play after clutch play. Seeing quarterbacks have success in less than ideal circumstances is encouraging to me.

I haven't seen that much of Maye, but he played like a drunk last night and he definitely has a penchant for staring down his receivers.

It really is funny reading all of the Fields haters run him down after a very good performance against maybe the best team in football. I suppose most of these negative Fields people are Bear haters.

He can also throw some head scratching interceptions. The kid has a shit defense, bad offensive line, and mediocre talent around him on offense. It's why I love him. He gets rid of the ball quickly, he's not afraid of the moment, he has a big arm, he's athletic, great height for a passer, he's a year younger than Williams, and he's not an annoying diva.

This is how I see it. We probably aren't even looking for the things NFL teams are scouting. On the other hand, they suck at evaluating the position as well

Lions drafted Hooker fairly early this year and gave him a redshirt, so they aren't in any qb mix

Really? Which NFC North team is better than the Lions? I guess you can say the Vikings....I'll take the Lions over the Vikings.

TM and I saw this Lions thing coming years ago. When John Dorsey enters your building, you make better personnel decisions.

Remember hearing the WSCR hosts make fun of the Lions coach while praising the "smart fans coach" Nagy, really is amazing how far the stations Bears and NFL coverage has been allowed to decline over the past few years.

I think Nagy could win with this Lions team. IMO, they wouldn't lose a game with a healthy Mahomes or Burrow. The talent is what makes me reluctant to jump on the Ben Johnson Train with TEA.

I’ll save a seat for you. See you in January.
