The weight his statement has been given is perplexing.

"Have you ever heard anyone say the Bears rely too much on 1985 nostalgia?"
"well yes all the time in fact I said it myself the other d--"
"But have you heard it from a player who gets run out of every locker room in the league?"

He wants to make people mad by saying "actually I like it when the black athlete does a little dance," but no one is mad that Fields did a little dance, they're mad that he's especially crappy in 4th quarters.

I thought there was a flag on the play and that run was coming back.

Who thought it would be a good idea to have Punchdrunk Brisker as a regular guest on this show and why are they asking him detailed questions about his Thanksgiving eating preferences?

That is one of Larry's better quotes actually.

He's a pretty special guy Midge. Worked across a number of genres.

Self made, highly respected and an inspirational story as well. I dealt with him years ago. I think J Hood was the first guy ever to put him on as a talk show guest.

Spoken or written.

His page 2 work was some of the worst writing I’ve ever read.

Correct. And his writing sucks.

I've met him a couple of times. He seems like a nice guy. Never thought he was a good writer however. I agree with you about that.

Dan and Laurence both know whom the White Sox are going to hire for their play by play job, but won't say who it is.

Breaking news! They will tell you after the hire!

Laurence continues to insist that if he publicly endorsing anyone, it will hurt their chances.

I don't listen much these days, but I recall hearing him on the Score years ago. He seemed likeable...they've hosted far worse guests.

I will throw Chase Daniels' name out there. I heard his P&S segment this week. He said that was Justin Field's best game. He was so over the top positive that it was sickening. He even said that should absolutely commit to Fields for next year. I want you to think about that for a second- peak Justin Fields is him throwing for under 200 yards and losing the game where he fumbled the ball into the end zone.

Chase wants that as the Bears starting QB?

I had to do some driving at lunch just now so i listened to 20-30 minutes of the show
Adam Hoge was on, that was ok
But then High Noon which was brutal. Larry played some clip of Wayne Gretzsky telling a mildly cute story involving his 9 year old child. Dan apparently knows the Gretzsky family by heart and insisted it was an old story bc his kids are older now. He seemed to be reading verbatim from wikipedia so i'm going to believe him over Larry. Larry played it off by mentioning other old women who have had kids, then suggested his wife cheated on him with a balck man.

he was just joking that even tho Dan seemingly had the nuclear Gretzsky family info memorized, and that the wife was too old to have kids, she might have had one out of wedlock and it's name was Tyrell. It was pretty funny.

Wait. This needs to be clarified. Because I either got, Larry’s wife banged another black guy while they were married or Wayne Gretzky had sex with a minor or both. Sometimes you guys have trouble telling a story like George Offman.

Buddy Ryan was bad, but the all-time worst was Rodman, can't remember which show paid him to do a regular spot, but it was brutal.

Parkins and Spiegel visiting other shows as football and baseball experts bombed. Julie made a few visits as a legal expert that didn't go well. 3 contenders for worst all-time guests.

Controversy when the producers found out Buddy Ryan as a Score guest was making more than them.
