Spaceball is up first to blow Mike, spaceball not taking credit, this is all about mike and his talent……..i just threw up a little in my mouth.

Quick note, first 3 minutes into this is telling me I am going to either need aspirin or beer to get this, because this has all the markings of a “suck mike off day” show. So If this recap goes bad somewhere in the middle, I am drunk or brain dead.

Mike mom is so proud that her son was on the front page of the suntimes……I am sure she is just glad it wasn’t for turning down a 4 year, 3.2 mil deal.

Mike stops bebe from talking Halloween to discuss what he is going to do on Halloween and that is the ever important job of keeping lucky under control when the kids come to the door…..i guess jen has the night off.

Show ends with Mike talking about ac/dc, jen chiming in……really, the last ten minutes made no sense.

Mike ends the show by thanking the suntimes for the one day a week gig, Comcast for the 6-12 month gig and rich melman for taking pappys money so he could do a webio show……Mac said that north is a great self promoter, that might true to some extent, but north is also the most delusional person I have ever heard.

I'm hoping that bigfan is paying you some monetary value for recapping the webcast. To listen and remember what this dope says may lead someone to lose their sanity.

the mike is making NOWHERE close to 1/4 of his former 1.5 mil.

Hell, net net he's probably making close to nothing after paying for the webcast, ads in the Sunslimes and paying Jen out of his pocket.

If I remember right, Jen went to see AC/DC...wonder if she ran into Danny Mac...To be a fly on the wall for that conversation.

I would think it would just be about getting a job.

Once again, if he gets a job great, but the mistake he will always never understand is that people listened to the Score, not Mike North. I have not heard him on his web show, I have not read his article as one thing I really dont ever expect to be good is Mike North writing anything and I think I speak for a large large percentage of sports guys in Chicago, we are not turning on the TV and hanging out to watch TV.

The other thing to BF is that when Mike left the score, he went on and on how it wasnt about him, it was either about the fans or the people he worked for and making the product better, but once all the dust cleared, it is clearly all about Mike in Mike's world.

North has exposed himself, he has surronded himself with people who will tell him that he is great, no matter how bad it is, that is eventually going to come back to pappy when all his guys move on.

BF, your comment about proving the chat board guys wrong is right on, he doesnt read them, he doesnt care about what they say, but every time he gets a 500 dollar check for some low rate gig, he feels the need to validate it by telling anyone who will listen that his critics where wrong, but actually, those critics were right on, he is a radio guy who cant get a job in that market any longer, that says it all.

This is the last gasp guys. Mike North cannot create revenue. He is now worthless. This Suntimes deal will end and the Comcast deal will end. What else is there? I'm shocked that these two one time media entities would hire the likes of two washed up guys but like someone said here. They were cheap.

Again, where does North go from here? Seriously. What else is next? The web again? No one pays for nothing in return.

Exactly what I was thinking. He would have made 200K already on that contract he left sitting on the table. He would have made another 200K by the time the Comcast gig starts. There is no getting that money back...and yet he is bragging.
