Another red flag. I've been slowly navigating to Bo Nix for about a month. Great football name is part of it.

Him disrespecting the media makes me like him more.

If he explicitly said “fuck the media,” I’d make him my front runner for the 2036 GOP nomination.

He’s mentally weak and will sing like a bird the minute he gets to the NFL and is threatened with fines, but if you enjoy imagining him having a spine that’s cool.

The numbers are still very good. He can't keep up with the defense letting up points. He has definitely shown immaturity and a lack of fortitude in the second half of the season.

Josh Lucas absolutely loves Williams, but I'm reasonably certain that Lucas knows absolutely nothing about football.

Because he's like Justin Fields in a lot of ways.

He's Justin Fields with better mechanics, less size, worse athleticism, and no leadership skills.

Guys like Josh Lucas and other "draft experts" look silly at times because they are evaluating guys based on college level success and most of the guys they are evaluating are playing on teams where they are surrounded with first round draft picks.

You also have the college level offenses where the coordinator does all the thinking for them and you have the annoying stops to look at the sideline for line adjustments and late play call adjustments, you do not get any of this in the NFL, the QB has to make all those checks on his own.

This gets you guys that look to the first read and then start panicking and dancing around waiting for a guy to break wide open, holding the ball forever which works when you are playing Colorado, but not against NFL defenses.

You do not see the college guys throw to spots or throw guys open like top NFL QB's because they do not learn where the open guys are playing under snake oil salesman like Lincoln Riley, Urban Meyer, Kirby Smart, and Nick Saban who go out and buy top WR's who get open on their own all the time. Even a smurf can have success at QB at Alabama, and Georgia has had success under a dude who was likely drunk all the time and currently have a sleestak playing QB.

So you are basically almost better off taking a raw physical specimen and hoping you can coach him up.

Why the name-calling, Haw(k)g?

While I agree that Williams is a prima donna, I am definitely NOT a pussy! Wanna fight?

I'd skip him because he disrespected the prestigious Holiday Bowl.

There's a small chance he could fall to #3.

Seeing Harrison Jr. and Williams ranking as the top two in most of the prospect ranking sites. Likely comes down to who they hire to coach, Harbaugh does seem to be able to coach up QB's, would he want to take a shot with Fields, could he get the best out of Willams or Maye, certainly will be a franchise altering decision.

You almost have to erase all the evaluations you have from Eberflus and his staff, seems as if he has at best a bunch of goofs on his staff, but you can see by the two firings that the culture at Halas Hall is less than ideal for player evaluation and development.

The fact that the defense improved after the fired the DC speaks volumes about the lack of talent and ability in the Bears organization when it comes to coaching hires, explains why this franchise has been spinning it's wheels, but one thing is certain, George McKaskey has no business hiring anyone and should not be making GM and HC hiring decisions.

If Harbaugh is hired, I could see the Bear's have a high Number one pick in 2025 as well as their own. This will give Fields a solid year with an improved Bear's team and if he fails, then the Bear's can draft another college Qb OR trade for an established good NFL qb.

Is the Bear locker room now sufficiently strong to take on Williams' character?

QB is different. Why take him when you have a comparable option?
