It wouldn't be a terrible choice. He's shown that he is good as a play caller. This is likely nothing more than his agent wanting to get his name out there. The McCaskey's aren't going to hire anyone who may have beaten a woman.

The Commanders offense isn't that impressive

I’m not a big Sam Howell guy and he’s looked great at times. I’ll give coaching some credit for that and it sure as shit wasn’t Riverboat Ron.

I wouldn’t hate a Bienemy hire but the baggage may discourage Ginny.

I don't get the idea of just defaulting to always hiring some DC/OC. The job of a DC/OC and head coach couldn't be more different. Some of the most successful head coaches were never coordinators at the NFL level - Andy Reid/John Harbaugh (and maybe Dan Campbell), or barely were coordinators - Mike Tomlin (1 season).

Maybe try to identify the qualities that will make a good head coach, and understand those are different from the duties of DC/OC in a lot of respects, and if you find a candidate with those qualities, or potentially with those qualities, hire that guy.

This isn't like the Big XII where you can be successful with a offensive minded head coach who is completely checked out from the team as a whole.

Ditka is still the most successful Bears head coach since Papa Bear and he wasn't a OC prior to the Bears job.

Ditka was also the last meatball we had too for that job. Wannie was the only other guy even remotely meaty.

I would hire Dion sanders. This would make pre and post game must see tv, and also fix the problem of winning too much. We can have a team that's all #1 picks within a few years.

There are several tiers below hall of game QB that’d be acceptable.

Unfortunately he’s just straight up bad.

Warren and Harbaugh despise one another?

Kevin Warren tried to kill B1G football. That’s probably tantamount to murdering a family member for a guy like Harbaugh.

Saw a report where Kevin said he recently spoke with Harbaugh and they had an amblicle conversation.

What was the made up Allen Robinson story?

He's concluding that Warren and Harbaugh dislike one another based on public comments they've apparently made about one another. I don't follow college football that closely, so I don't know if his claim is accurate or not.

No one really likes Harbaugh. Michigan begged him to leave and cut his compensation to try and force him out. He just kind of stuck around because he had nowhere else to go, started a cheating ring that the CIA would be proud of, and won almost all of his games since. That's why even now Michigan is only hinting at some $11 million extension that bans him from seeking NFL jobs this year because they have no other choice.

Why would I be bitter about Michigan football? They dominate us. So do PSU, Wisconsin, and OSU.

I am going to flag this next game as one indication of Eberflus as a coach. Can he keep the team interested the week after a disappointing loss that eliminated them from the playoffs?

He didn't need to cheat to dominate the big 10

That makes the cheating worse. He forgot to steal TCU's signals

Why did Michigan lower his compensation prior to the cheating?

Something about Allen Robinson saying Nagy was losing the locker room.

No, he recruiting the wrong quarterback.

I believe JJ was the #1 QB out of IMG that year. So he got the big fish, but he never really developed, of course that may be Michigan's run heavy offense.

Google tells me #5.

Quinn Ewers was the top followed by Caleb Williams.

The next HC will need to be smart enough to tell the OC to run the ball late in games and will tell Poles to give him a center that does not get blown into the backfield on third and one.

Your next QB will be instructed to actually throw the ball to wide open guys in the flat, seems simple, but the current staff has never been able to convince Justin Fields to get the ball to his backs, even if you had a back that could catch the ball Fields would never use him.

You had the semblance of a competent run scheme with Jenkins at RG, Wright at RT, and the ancient yet incredibly effective Lewis at TE, that is the look you should have stuck with on short yardage all season long, too many instances of Kmet whiffing on blocks and Davis getting blown up in the run game, maybe Getsy will realize this next year when he's toiling away as a QB coach.

Not everyone does.

Are you also going to pull a Dr. Style and ignore the fact that Michigan lowered his compensation and basically begged him to leave before the cheating scandal started up?

And now they are prepared to double that if they want to stop him from bolting to the NFL
