While no one is officially calling North’s appearance an “audition”, it’s become clear the CBS isn’t happy with North’s huge contract and his underperformance on the Score. North retained the services of Chicago lawyer Ed Vrdolyak, in preparation for what is expected to be a prolonged negotiation with CBS suits.

Former Chicago alderman and power broker Edward Vrdolyak pleaded guilty this morning to a kickback scheme involving the sale of a medical school building.
Jury selection was scheduled to begin today, but U.S. District Judge Milton Shadur sent the jury pool home.

Vrdolyak is not cooperating with prosecutors, according to his plea agreement with prosecutors.

As part of the deal, prosecutors agreed to recommend that Vrdolyak be sentenced to 41 months in prison. He is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 9.

HopefullY fast Eddy will put mike on his vistor list.

Gee Eddie. A Lifetime of swindeling, kickbacks and lies ending up in a 41 month sentence, most likely at a Country Club like place. Probably be a 2 year stint, then you can walk away clear and call in your amrkers to move down to Florida.

That guy is just a low life and has always been. Figures North was hooked up with him.
