Eight states lost population, down from 19 the previous year. Losing the most in percentage terms: New York (down 0.5%) and Louisiana (dropped 0.3%). California, the nation’s most populous state, lost about 0.2%.”

And I guess if weather was the primary reason to move, CA and LA would not lose population to TX and FL.

Over the past several years, Texas has probably attracted more PMC liberals than any other state.

They’re colonizing the indigenous Texiagans.

I did like that clip from the Weiderer interview where they lightly imply insider status and Weiderer let's them know multiple times that he knows the one connection they have and that he is much more plugged in to the team

You have the guy on for a weekly segment as your Bears insider/expert and then want to dispute when he gives you his insider/expert observations.

Yeah, but what good is an insider/expert to them if he doesn't fit THEIR narrative?

His happiness is the dilution of red states?

He was happy that they found a left leaning resident that migrated out because of the state’s politics. The article was incredibly weak, basically someone with a narrative looking to make a story.

He also has been making regular comments regarding climate change (typically around the lack of snow or warmer temps this December).

According to Dan, abortion policy would dictate what university a student picks.

Of course, if you mention crime in Chicago, both Dan and Laurence start laughing hysterically at the thought that there are any issues.

I think viewing Fields through a racial lens is more of a media practice than a fan practice. I would say that just about every Bears fan, even someone like Brouge, wanted Fields to succeed. This whole Bernstein thing is just explained by the emergence of wokeness in the years since Derrick Rose was a hot topic and Dan's ever present desire to be on the "right side of history."

I agree that fans aren't viewing Fields through a racial lens, but media members are. Many fans are viewing the stadium issue through a racial lens, however.

The stadium is a weird subject but racial I haven’t heard. Seems hating the family and park district making stupid deals thing.

There's a lot of "finally I'll be able go to a game and not fear for my life" posting if you're looking at the dregs of Facebook/Twitter. "Finally the Bears will get out of SHITcago!", say so-called Bears fans who fucked off to Nashville.

I think plenty of people are looking forward to an easier experience driving to a Bears stadium in Arlington Heights than squeezing into the Soldier Field parking lots, but I've never heard anyone claim that they fear for their lives when they go to a Bears game. I'm not doubting you read what you claimed to read on social media, I just think these people are in the minority and will find other excuses not to attend when the Bears play in Arlington Heights.

I also think using some posts on social media to reach the conclusion that the Bears fanbase is more racially charged than at any other point in our lives is not the tightest of arguments.

I find it interesting that Dan and Laurence didn't even address the Dan Wiederer debate on Tuesday's show. It seemed to get a lot of attention and it was actually a good discussion even if Laurence is probably upset that he was questioned and everyone is supposed to agree with everything on this show.

Maybe they are having Leila on today to give one of her rants about how people are being unfair to Fields or how bad Getsy is as sort of response without addressing it directly.

Hoping Weiderer is back on the show without any "conversations". We'll see.

Uh oh, Eberflus appeared to praise Getsy today in this press conference. Does that mean that Eberflus is leading the conspiracy to ruin Justin Fields?

There was a morning show producer on the morning show about 8 years ago (Zepac?) who legitimately said the White Sox should not sign some player to a 5 year deal because there was serious doubt any of us would be alive in 5 years.

Maybe I'm hearing things or just extremely cynical, but it feels like they have now stooped to mischaracterizing Wiederer's comments in the promo ads. I heard one this afternoon where they played Wiederer praising Fields (something like "the locker room is clearly behind Fields" etc) when that is clearly at odds with his overall opinion. Maybe it was a lazy producer selecting that snippet (it would have been more compelling to choose one featuring B&H bickering with Wiederer) but I wouldn't put it past these guys to try to do something like that to someone they disagree with but can't silence like they would a caller.

I'll be interested if they bring him back on their show or if they need to work things out first. Holmes is extremely sensitive in a his race grifting bubble where everyone agrees with him on everything else.....racist!

He had to be taken aback to somebody actually questioning him. Holmes kept referring to what Getsy says in his press conferences and how important that is, but then ignoring what Weiderer says Getsy publicly says. Isn't Holmes the same person who likes to hide behind his sources telling him things? Interesting that doesn't apply to Weiderer who isn't even implying that things he's hearing is off the record.

So much race-baiting in Bernstein's and Holme's world. Has to be difficult to keep it all straight.

Last week, Holmes made another interesting argument for keeping Fields. All of their guests are in support of keeping him. Maybe they know something about football and we should listen. This was before Weiderer didn't bend at the alter, but if you only have guests who love Fields, isn't that just a reflection of what guest you want on? I'm sure if they tried, they could find guests who think the Bears should move on.

Sort of reminds me of watching cable news - this week Kaitlan Collins, who CNN tries to build as a face of the network and how she is a truth seeker, has 3 anti-Trump lawyers talking about how Trump is Hitler, etc with no pushback, all more ridiculous than the last..then have lawyers on who agree with the Colorado ruling when that clearly is in the minority (except on CNN/MSNBC). Point being, your guest list can push any point of view.

Just saw Bernsie tweeted a pic of his kid playing pick up hockey in goal. He is wearing a Blackhawks 670 sweater that I remember them getting when he, Mac and the gang were Bobby Hull’s guest in a suite a long time back.

Bernsie also said he and his kid got rid of all their Hawks stuff when the rapey trainer coach guy scandal came out. Hmmmm.

It is Thursday afternoon so Bernsie, WYC?

B&H were discussing Christmas/Holiday gifts with Jason Liesure and of course they all said they hate the gift-giving aspect of it. They said the concept of buying something for someone that they wouldn't buy for themselves didn't make any sense. :?

There is little doubt that Bernstein is the driving force behind all the stuff he says on the air about what his kid does regarding social issues. Whether that's because Dan tells his dumb kid to do it, or Dan treats him like a fictional character he can use to further a narrative, Bernstein is still at the controls.

Remember when he wanted everyone to believe that his kid kneeled for the pledge of allegiance at school all on his own?

Oh yeah. Bernstein has brainwashed the kid to be like him. He literally convinced him that concentration camps for Jews might come back. In America.

Dan was absolutely right about a surge of antisemitism in America, just not when, why, or from where.

The stupidity on this show knows no bounds. In supporting Fields, Leila just said the best athlete on an NFL team is usually the QB…and LoHo agreed.

They are 1000% on “the coaches have failed him.” (Going back to Nagy.). Now LoHo is saying that he would like Fields to go somewhere that has a coach who can teach him how to watch tape better. As if they have a fucking clue what’s being taught.
