my favorite Jokic story comes from my own house.

When I got back into basketball around 2017 and started following the NBA again i got league pass. Would watch games with the wife who somewhat paid attention. halfway through the season I had on a Nuggets game for the first time. Jokic appeared on the screen. Wife blurts out laughing, "who's that fat slob?" I informed her that that fat slob is apparently one of the better players in the league. she was shocked as was I to be honest.

Obviously we've seen a lot more of him since and we both became big fans and rooted for him in the playoffs this year.
