She has a damn good resume.

I've heard the NFL has the same problem.

I didn't realize she is 72. That really surprised me.

They wouldn't ask her and she wouldn't do it.

Now they're speculating the movie is in trouble and SOC hired a PR firm to put some heat on Kennedy. Her comments were from an appearance on CNN a few days ago...she hasn't done anything official with Disney for awhile. Disney is probably getting cold feet after South Park. It had an impact for sure...they did an emergency edit of The Marvels after the episode came out. Disney really blew it here...its going to cost them a lot of money to keep SOC's mouth shut if they dump her.

It looks like the rumor SOC hired a PR firm that got her on CNN so she could shame Disney into following thru with her movie were true. It looks like this will replace her movie on the production schedule.

Nothing gets past this guy. In 2024 he discovered video games are kind of a big deal.

The media treatment of Disney is strange to say the least. They always hold back. Disney lost at least another 200 million on marketing which article mentions at end but doesn't mention the cost when they know this was probably the movie with the biggest marketing spend in history. Superbowl ads and a premiere at Cannes followed by 6 more weeks of ad spend to counter the bad reviews following Cannes.
"The financial statements do not show the marketing costs for the movie and, on the other hand, the box office share isn't the studio's only return as it also receives revenue from merchandise and DVD or Blu Ray sales." I'm sure the revenue on merchandise and blu-ray sales was impressive.
