The dynamic duo of dumb, Collinsworth and Romo, made the games less enjoyable. The NFL has to make sure you don't get those two back to back in these big games.

I didn't always hate Collinsworth. I liked him as a player and I thought he was fun and informative earlier in his career. I don't know when the arrogance coupled with stupidity took control. He'll be 65 this month. Time to put him out to pasture. There is no reason that the Collinsworth name should have gotten his incompetent son such big roles so early in his career.

i actually like collinsworth still. maybe it's just a comfort thing since he's been calling big games for so long. The fox team is pretty good. nbc is good. Romo has worn out his welcome and at the same time nantz is losing his fastball too. aikman and buck are still good as well.

i no longer really gripe about announcers... i think it coincided with dick stockton finally being put down.

As someone used to the 4th best announcing crew assigned to a Big Ten football game I won't ever complain about the national announcers. No offense to J Leman.

when baker threw that pick the game was over... 93 seconds left and only 1 timeout. but the lions goofed clock management by not letting playclock run down all the way. apparently the bucs could have called a timeout at 36 seconds left to force a 4th down FG attempt. the NBC broadcast missed this, watching i assumed the NBC score bug was just wrong and that tampa didnt actually have a timeout because why wouldnt you use it especially if the lions goofed up by snapping too quickly? todd bowles excuse in that article is pretty funny - basically ehh it was really unlikely we'd actually win so thats why i didnt use the timeout
