Bernsie and Holmes were noticeably reserved and quiet. in their announcing this guy. They probably were mad the Sox got a person they couldn't make fun of as he has all the education and experience.

This guy will be fine. They're all the same across all 30 MLB teams. Benetti was the same only it seems he was a diva that thought he was more special then what he was. And he thought he was a comedian.

As long as he just calls the game, he'll be fine. I would like to see if Benetti brings the full Benetti experience from game one of his Tigers tenure, or treats Tigers viewers like a new girlfriend and brings out the crazy in month four.
