It's a marathon. Brady was still a top 10 quarterback when he retired. Brady could come back next season and probably be a top 10 quarterback. Longevity matters, too. That said, I don't remember young Marino, so Mahomes is the most gifted quarterback, who happens to be a killer, that I've seen. He still needs 5 more rings to pass the GOAT of team sports.

I have no problem with Goff's statements. Many whites also feel the same way. MANY wouldn't put Brady over Peyton for similar reasons for a long period of time. Brady wasn't a physically gifted player. He won with preparation and being mentally superior to his opponents.

GOAT is subjective, except for Michael.

You can mention Mahomes in the same breath as Brady today

LeBron has the stats and longevity, but he's a loser in the big games. Even with the foundation Jordan put in place, he won't approach him in marketing $$.
