You are looking at the very real possibility of having rookies start next season at QB, WR, and at least one offensive line spot, so it will be a developmental year for the offense. You get flexability with Powers-Johnson as he could easily slide in at guard, but you likely will not be in the position to draft him as I see him going late in the first on a few mocks, but if you draft a center or guard it is highly likely that the guy sees a lot of playing time given the injury history of your current guard group.

There are a few guys you could bring in in free agency that would be immediate upgrades, but you do need to find a long term solution at the position, and given the amount of free agent paper you are going to have on offense it would be smart to have several guys starting on rookie deals on your offense as you might be entering the rookie QB window, and have a few years to pay guys until you have to pony up for a second QB contract.

That of course would be a dream scenario and the Bears have whiffed at this for the past....fifty years or so, it is highly unlikely.

They probably need to have a reliable center from free agency who they can actually depend on and draft a player who can grade out as an interior OL with the ability to play center.

Of the teams listed, this appears to be the best choice. The Steelers have about $17M in cap space. That isn't enough to hunt in free agency. They're picking too late in the draft to find a Day 1 starter. Tomlin loves players with dynamic play making ability.

I'd take my chances with Fields if Daniels was the best qb option in this draft.

He has many of the same issues that Fields has. While he lacks the power, I think he's a far more electric runner than Fields.
