Eberflus isn't coaching Fields to hold the ball for 45 mins each passing play and take sacks. He just doesn't have it.

I did this last week...

I think it would take an additional pick. I don't think MHJ is significantly better than whatever player may be there at #9, the Steelers pick, and probably the 2025 Carolina pick.

Not sure if Fields has quite the value we are seeing in some of the trade scenarios, but adding arguably the two top players in the draft is certainly tempting.

Wondering how many new starters we will see on offense next year? You easily could see new starters at QB, two at WR, C, and a #2 TE, so half of your offense could be replaced.

If they land an impact receiver in free agency it could influence what they do in the draft. At worst, it'll give them some flexibility.

Higgins or Pittman. Evans is too old.

The Bengals can't pay him and Chase.

Bengals can tag Higgins and buy some time. They don't have to pay Chase for a couple years

Great point, but the Bengals are in cap hell. They'll also have to sign Chase this offseason, but it won't kick in for 2 more season. This will be his last "cheap" year.

The Bengals have the 4th most projected cap space available this offseason. (59 million available). I'm not sure how they are in cap hell

I’d love to see them get the chance to take Nabors at 9. You’d have to take a pass on FA to get there, but the ideal outcome would be a young WR to pair with your young QB/older, expensive WR.

I thought I saw something that had them $50M over the cap. Maybe I read it wrong.

Burrow's deal isn't too bad, not Mahomes level expensive. They got a steal on Orlando Brown Jr. And they really aren't paying anyone big bucks on defense. They will probably tag and trade Higgins.

I think KJ Osborn is a guy you can get very reasonably who was heavily underutilized in Minnesota. I think he is more than capable of stepping up to a #2 spot and will flourish with his next team.

He allows flexibility in the draft because if someone falls to you at #9 you can grab them and make them earn the #2 WR. Alternatively, you don't have to overdraft and can go after the very good talent of this WR draft group later. Get into the Pearsall, Mc Conkey, Legette types.

I love watching Evans. 10 straight 1,000 yard seasons is ridiculous. And no NFL WR is perfect but Evans has always had easy catchable drops during games, including a few potential 1st down conversions that instead turned into punts versus the Lions a few weeks back — but of course, he made up for it with big time catches.

I’d rather pay Danielle Hunter, Chris Jones, Josh Allen, or Brian Burns to really beef up the defense line and turn this defense into an elite one. Draft Nabers (like Antioch mentioned) for Caleb. Or…..maybe the Patriots want Fields so you trade him and #9 for #3 and draft Harrison Jr. for Caleb. That would be incredible.

you'll have to wait to see who makes it to fa. those don't get away too often and usually only hit the market because of flaws.

I'm looking for players on the come. Kendrick Bourne would be a great fit.

The FA WRs are pretty grim. dolphin is right to point to Osborn as one of the better options. Higgins wont reach FA, even if they arent gonna sign him, he will be tag and traded. Colts have a bunch of cap room, zero chance they let Pittman walk. Darnell Mooney is considered one of the top FA WR options.

Tell me something. Can you actually make a statement or argument that is actually true? Your latest effort is ridiculous.

Gabe Davis is there. Amari Cooper and Diggs will likely be cap casualties. I think there may be some other trade options. The Bengals may be willing to take a 2025 second instead of allowing Higgins to walk for nothing, like they did after tagging Bates. It's a great receiver draft, so I think they'll be fine either way.

Diggs is the same age as Evans and Cooper is 10 months younger. Of the three I would still take Evans.

I would too. I think he's the best player. I think he would cost the most. Diggs is a cancer. Cooper is probably the best value play.

I would be surprised if the Bears added a significant $$$ WR. They do need to add at least a dependable veteran type assuming they move from Mooney, but I think it's far more likely they address the WR spot in the draft.

In free agency, they should be looking at C, Edge, S and veteran/dependable WR (but more of a #3 type). They're probably continue tinkering at RB also. Additional OL/DL depth is needed, but some of that will come via the draft.
