I don't know how other fans reacted to it but I was absolutely tortured by ROMO'S commentary on the game. The guy just TALKS TOO MUCH to begin with but he crosses the line with his commentary about what a team should do on offense or defense on virtually every play. And he was obviously wrong on many of his ideas. For example, he criticized Mahomes for not spiking the ball as the tie ran down in OT. Nance had to comment that Pacheco wasn't back yet from the previous play.

Also, Romo seemed to want to put Purdy on a pedestal as a great quarterback in that game. Every damn time he did something good you heard what a 'GREAT EXECUTION OF A PLAY IT WAS AND WHAT A GENIUS HIS COACH WAS OFFENSIVELY'. BLA BLA BLA. Then, last but not least, he kept talking about how worn out and tired the Chiefs were when it was really the 9ers defense who were leaving the game on almost every play.

It made me yearn for the good old days of John Madden and whoever his partner for the game was. They were interesting, could be funny yet didn't talk over each other and talk just to talk. i guess LESS CAN BE MORE in broadcasting.

The father is always absent, perhaps that's why they are such great "athletes".

Yeah, that screams prude. I see why she was promoted to a single mother.

Has Shanahan lost control of his team?

Jon Feliciano left Super Bowl LVIII after 31 snaps with a pectoral injury, and Spencer Burford replaced him at right guard.

During a key third-and-four play in overtime, Feliciano threw his teammate under the bus for a protection bust that resulted in an incompletion.

A viral video blamed right tackle Colton McKivitz for the miscue, prompting Feliciano to respond with two tweets.

"I know you know all, so u should know that’s not Colton’s guy…." Feliciano initially responded, before adding, "A quick chop is not needed if the guy that was supposed to block him, blocks him."

Feliciano was implying that Burford was responsible for leaving Chiefs defensive Chris Jones unblocked and with a clear path to Brock Purdy, who, under pressure, threw the ball over the head of Jauan Jennings. That forced a field goal, and the Chiefs won with a touchdown.

Burford replied to Feliciano, "Sheesh…I open up my app to this…get well soon bro…"

Feliciano then apologized: "Im sorry bro. I woke up hungover and being a bitch. In trying to have ones back I hurt u. It’s f-Ed up and I apologize. You got nothing but greatness ahead of you. I’m sorry bro."

Burford, in turn, took responsibility for not covering the B-gap, the area between him and McKivitz.

“I should have just played within the scheme,” Burford said. “I played on instinct. It was my fault. I don’t want anybody to put anything on Colton, whatever he has going on. Don’t blame him.”

I'm fine with it. Guys trying to process a busted coverage that arguably cost them the championship. Frustration is high as it should be. I'd be more concerned if they just went back to posting pics of normal life without any mention of the game..

The play didn't "force a field goal". Shannahan chose to kick a field goal rather than going for a first down knowing it was putting the ball back into Mahomes' hands after he had just driven his team down to the 6 yard line just before the end of the 4th. Everyone is stuck on the OT coin flip. This was the big mistake...and he made it twice.

Giving the other team 4 downs to his 3 downs is, from the big picture, a bigger mistake. He put himself voluntarily into the weaker position. But he was better off going for the TD because if he doesn't get it, at least he puts KC back in the 3 down situation.

I'm fine with the criticism but the 49ers did force a fourth down when they were up 3 in OT. The game ends right there with SF winning if KC doesn't convert. They were a stop away from instant glory.

I agree, if they go for it and fail, then yes KC only needs a FG, but they won't have the free fourth downs any more. Once SF got inside the 15, the better money play was to go for it and make Mahomes drive 45 yards with a normal 3 down structure instead of 75 yards with a bunch of extra plays.

And below you have Joey Bosa blaming Wilks for his inability to do his job and tackle Mahomes on 4th down. If he just does his job, instant glory

They both pissed themselves the last 15+ minutes of the game.

tough to put the loss on the defense when the offense averaged 4.4 points a quarter.

Chiefs offense only slightly better, but the Chiefs weren't rolling out CMC/Deebo/Aiyuk/Kittle/MVP Jauan Jennings et al. Deebo did seem less than 100% health-wise tho.

His defense held KC to under 20 points in regulation. Maybe the offensive coordinator should look in the mirror. Oh that's right, the head coach would be looking back at him.

Andy Reid probably thinking he could use this 15 year-old on the o-line in a few years:

Maybe if Andy Reid hugged Travis Kelce more Kelce wouldn't act up on the sidelines during games.
