I know. But who cares.

Bernstein lives in an all white neighborhood so he's less likely to get murdered, raped or robbed. Yet he likes to tell people he's a good white cuz he lives in Chicago and isn't scared of blacks and browns like the suburban whites.

Did you know that Bernstein had a long discussion with his wife before they had kids? They agreed that they would live in Chicago so the kids could see the black and brown people. I know that because Bernstein tells that story every chance he gets.

Bernstein and Larry with a guest from Kansas City. Another in the long line of guests echoing the hosts Fields is a victim/it's the coach's fault/he'll get better with another team. It'd be funny to hear a guest say the truth. There's a small chance Fields passing could possibly get better. But, there's a greater chance he'll stay the same or even get worse like Mitch.

Laurence said on Monday that SF probably would have won if Fields was their QB.

For this 2 month window, I agree Fields is the greatest untapped resource in QB history. Let the bidding begin for this stud.

This is such nonsense. They would not be in the Super Bowl if Fields was their QB. What is the fascination with deifying this guy?

Did he miss the Bears/KC game this season? Not exactly a great performance against the KC D that day, think he had like 20 yards passing in the first half.

Purdy is nowhere near the athlete that Fields is, but he is light years ahead of Fields in reading defenses.

Just a bad take from someone that knows less than nothing about football, but that is the entire WSCR lineup, that is why you get such flaccid Bears coverage on the station, and one of the many reasons you are wasting your time listening to what was once the go to outlet for Bears coverage.

I think we know the answer to that one. Lawrence implies it often.

Good point on the actual results when Fields played them. Of course, that was when (or just after) Fields had the courage to call out the coaching staff for not allowing him to play so you can't actually refer to the results of that day.

Lamar Jackson couldn’t beat KC but Fields would have? The fact that Bernstein wouldn’t challenge that nonsense speaks to how shitty that show is.

They clearly have an agenda to promote Fields. Leila was devoted to that agenda enough to try and whitewash the fourth quarter stats on Fields that depict him as the worst QB in the league during that stage of the game. Most guys with an agenda would just ignore that because it undermines the agenda. Leila took the extra step to actually try and somehow dismiss the data. That's like staring at a weight scale that says you weigh 200 and saying it's wrong. She's all in.

Have always found Larry's football takes to be terrible, remember how the shows used to make fun of his odd thoughts back in his intrepid Bears reporter days, they did the same thing to Lil' Danny Bernstein, think this is why both of them hate North, Mac, and Murph.

His football "thoughts" are a combination of jock sniffing and lack of football acumen, always notice he tried to put a bit of bass into his voice and devolves into the tired "everyone is a racist" straw man crud when presented with alternative facts, it would be very difficult for him to do a show with anyone other than a likeminded goof like Bernstein, makes for some of the dullest sports...not really talk radio, more like sports echo chamber radio one will hear, but the real "smart fans" have left WSCR in the dust and moved on to pods of choice.

They would tell you that they have a growing and large audience in part because of their football conversations. Leila even laughed at the criticism that the show goes into social justice too much and referred to the ratings.

I haven't been able to keep up on this story, but I'm sure this will be a hot topic. We need to ban more guns today and thoughts and prayers are for awful people who want kids to be dead.

She has gone in even more than Holmes/Bernstein on how much the coaching is to blame (vs. Fields being more of a victim of horrible coaching).

no...dan from deerfield is telling us that missouri has the 4th highest death by gun rate and that some underpopulated states are grossly overrepresented in the senate. says the answer is to vote - for you know who.

a quality political show has plenty of fodder from those 2 topics that dan from deerfield selected subjective facts. one can talk about st. louis & k.c. and then see where the rest of missouri ranks in the death by gun rate. also great conversation about illegals - where they go in the usa and why...how that tail wags the dog and the expected eventual voter pay-off for one particular party, as a reward.

Larry is thinly veiled saying the shooters are victims "we need to do a better job not letting people get these weapons" how easy they are to get in Missouri.

Yep. If Caller Bob's post is correct the shooters are pro palestinian muslim migrants.

dan has to be doing back-flips over the dems picking up a house seat in n.y.

amazing. that district voted 7-8 points higher for the R in 2022..voted 7-8 percentage points higher for the D, only 2 years later. i guess that district has no inflation nor illegals.

so many people are getting so much free stuff...one party seems to have a stranglehold, regardless of political failure/economic backslides.

he's confident enough that he can debate any founding founder over representation in the senate, as long as it's a 21st century gallery.

- We want this, we deserve this.
- New Zealand and Australia know what needs to be done.
- Gun fetishes
- States with large populations should decide the laws
- Missouri has no restrictions or common sense laws, 4th in gun violence

I really don't know why this show (or this station) think their bad political takes are top of mind.
