I suspect that the lawsuit she has filed while still working there is just trolling hoping that someone at Deadspin does something she can then claim is retaliation and add that to the original suit.

My former employer had an employee who managed to convince someone at the city equal rights division to open an investigation of sexual and racial harassment against the company, which in my opinion was made up out of thin air. Coincidentally this came about after our out of town HQ hired a general counsel who was based on our office...

As the #2 guy in the office, I had a fun conversation with counsel and our COO that the complaint was causing an unwarranted negative environment and that I wanted to work from home while she was still employed. I was told that doing so could be construed as retaliation. I promptly scheduled business trips for six straight weeks.

She resigned after another month, and the case took four years to get to a hearing. The hearing officer was so pissed off that she (black woman) verbally eviscerated the accuser (black woman) for wasting her time.
