Mike North's Rating System
I rate my plays on a simple 100 Unit to 1,000 Unit scale.
Plays are rated for two reasons:
They provide you a power rating to judge how strong one play is versus another.
They give you a money-management system for proper bankroll allocation
One of the biggest farces in this business is touts who brag about their winning percentages and customers who get hung up over the same. Winning percentages are meaningless when handicappers - like me for example - rate their plays for the reasons above.
So, if you lose on a 1,000 scale but win on a 100 unit play; that's supposed to be good, Mike?
"Don't tell me what you play, tell me what it pays."
