I can't see the Seahawks giving up a 2nd for Fields who really isn't much of an upgrade over Geno Smith. Unless they want to pivot to more of a running QB under their new head coach.

I like D'Andre Swift. That wouldn't have been my first hour priority.

We're down to Denver, Las Vegas, Minnesota, Washington and New England who will likely look for starting/future QB's in the draft/free agency.

Teams like Seattle, NYJ, Cleveland could be in the hunt for insurance. Maybe others.

At least 2 of the teams above - Washington and New England - seem likely to take a QB in Round 1 which leaves Denver, Las Vegas and Minnesota as teams that would start Fields if they traded for him and others as some level of insurance for their starting QB.

Now, it's becoming a preference between McCarthy/Penix/Nix vs. Fields for those teams.

Most speculation around the remaining teams have clear questions:
- Peyton would prefer more of a passing threat than Fields, but Denver has to eat 2 years (I believe) on Wilson's deal so this could work financially. They have been linked to Darnold already.
- According to Bernstein/Holmes, Getsy sabotaged Fields throughout the last season.
- Minnesota being a divisional rival.

Sean Peyton thinks fields is garbage. Check out his comments after the Denver Chicago game last year. Hardly complimentary. Minnesota's offense requires things Fields doesn't do or doesn't want to do. Doesn't make sense as a fit.
